"This is a really good disc golf course. Beautiful surroundings, and many different types of holes keep it interesting. The fact that it's nearly entirely shaded helps keep down the heat as well. However, be warned that there are HUGE amounts of poison ivy/oak everywhere throughout the course. The fairway is mostly clear of it, but if you throw into the rough even a few feet, you will likely be standing in it for your next throw, and since your disc landed in it, you'll be transferring it to your hands quickly. Be prepared: Know how to identify poison ivy and poison oak before playing this course! Wear jeans and closed shoes for sure. Set your golf bag down in the fairway before heading into the rough for your next shot. Don't touch your skin with contaminated hands (which they will be after picking up a disc in the rough). Put used discs in a separate bag, so they don't contaminate your entire golf bag. Wash all clothing when you're done, and take a shower. Poison ivy rashes can take days to appear, so you can accidentally keep spreading it to other parts of your body until you shower and wash those plant oils away. See the attached photos. The one showing a wide open field is right next to the disc golf parking lot, and you'll be playing through it on hole 8. Except for the thin stretch of fairway through it, the entire field is loaded with poison ivy. But it's not just that field, it's through the whole course."

"This course offers several unique features that sets it apart from the other courses in the area. It feels like it's in deep woods with large trees and lots of greenery. The holes aren't real long but there are obstacles that require thought before throwing. All techniques can be used here and there are lots of ace runs. Pretty course that is a blast to play."

"This is my favorite place to hike in the Dayton area. The trails are marked well and the maps are easy to read. The trails are well kept and clean. The water is a great bonus. Lots of different areas to rest in as well. Great for hikes with the kids."
