"A very nice park with a few miles of trails and a mix of scenery. A great place to spend a few hours or a few minutes."

"Great little primitive campsite for hikers and bikepackers. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through or wanting to do a local shakedown on new gear. The only negatives are you will hear the highway and the occasional train. But, I've found that is typically the case with Ohio camping the bikeways. Be sure to read the rules and extra information when booking this site with the Metroparks."

"Arguably the best of the Five Rivers Metroparks. Sprawling with numerous great hiking trails. They also have what has to be one of the best CCC Shelters in the country. East Park is our favorite as the yellow and especially the orange trails give you a sense of how this land looked hundreds of years ago."

"It's beautiful. You see unique flora to the area. The river is beautiful. It's rarely crowded. The east park is my favorite for hiking. Update as of 2022. Still great. Beware of an abundance of poison ivy along the trails though."
