"I stopped by looking for someone, they wasn't here. I remember they had a hammock in between a pole and a tree and was reading a book. Back in June or July 22."
"Big park with plenty of room. Creek is usually low enough to wade & take a dip. Lots of fun for kids. Nice shelters & playgrounds. Rarely busy, a little out of the way, but worth a look."
"This Shelter is in a field of green grass and pretty trees surround the field. This Shelter has the biggest most innovative playground in the park for kids 5-12. Two slides, a ship plank walk, monkey bars a cool seesaw and a spaceship like structure for climbing."

"You can always count on the bathrooms being absolutely disgusting. There was a joint and a used condom at Shelter 11. That's always nice to see at a kid's birthday party. This is the forgotten park of the Metroparks system. There are never any park employees on site to keep it clean and safe for guests. Even the new playground is already in disrepair. The seesaw is not bolted down on both sides anymore and there is graffiti everywhere."
