"Save yourself frustration and keep looking. On the initial appt Jay was very friendly, committed to timeframes, etc… Seemed great! Our installation was delayed 2 months without providing us any notification until I called the week before targeted install to get details. They told us a crane would be used on delivery…instead our pool shell was drug from the front of our driveway, all the way back as we and our neighbors watched in horror. Jay said he installs the bonding because electricians will charge you an arm and a leg…we had delays and extra expenses after Jay’s bonding was the ONLY thing to fail county inspection. I questioned the depth at which the pool was set because it looked too high compared to the height we had discussed and agreed upon. Consistently through the process Jay was incredibly condescending towards me, and blew me off about this also. Only to later confirm that they did not account for the autocover tracks when digging and indeed set our pool 4” too high — ABOVE our sliding door thresholds. They left 4’ deep giant holes empty around the pool after setting it and hauled all their equipment away…we had to backfill ourselves by hand. The first summer we fought green water for a month or more, only to be told by the Ionizer company that Jay should have NEVER sold us a cartridge filter to go with the ionizer and that we’ll need to switch to a sand/crushed glass filtration system or continue to have to use a bunch of chemicals every few days. Literally the most expensive, most stressful project of our lives because of Jay’s attitude and incompetence."

"Pools-HD just finished the installation of our fiberglass pool, and we could not be happier. On the day the project started, Jay said he would arrive at 8:30 a.m. and the pool would be delivered at 1:30 p.m. Jay did, in fact, arrive at 8:30 a.m. and the pool was delivered at 1:30 p.m. The whole process went that way. The excavator, electrician, and concrete team we used at the recommendation of Jay were fantastic. The whole process was a dream come true and we never could have believed it would be this easy! Thank you, Pools-HD!"

"Horrible Communication!! Wife and I were very excited to consult with this company from the resume that they have. The main guy Jay started off very nice and responsive, even came out to check the intended area of land we wanted to install a pool in. Being the rookies that we are and having no knowledge of pools, we inquired with Jay on several things, just to get an idea of what we would need and next steps needed in order to move the process forward. Apparently Jay became irritated with the few questions that we had, through text and via email, so he just stopped responding in general. I even asked if there was someone else that we could deal with so that we wouldn’t be a burden to him, (if that was even the case), but No Response to that either. Its been three weeks and at this point, it was necessary that I write a review, because we now realize that we were literally being ignored, as if we’ve done something offensive when we only wanted to get general information on things that are not our expertise. To us, this in not professional at all, and for whatever personal reason that Jay felt the need to ignore us as if our business was no good, will remain a head scratcher for us. I hate writing bad reviews because I am a business owner myself, but this was necessary. I don’t even do business like this myself. Oh well, on to the next."
