"Love the Preserve, location, and geography. However, the trails are blocked by many downed trees-have been for over a year-even after talking with Park District staff. Also, there have recently been cars broken into in the parking lot and evidence of criminal activity (empty alcoholic beverage containers, syringes, etc.). Needs better surveillance in off hours."

"It was nice. Pretty, but very small. Nothing to write home about."

"Sorry guys, but we do not like the new river access. We found the steps difficult to carry our kayaks down and back up. Also, getting in the river with a decent size drop off. Water was low though. Also, those large stones are good for twisting an ankle. The ramp was much easier. Looks nice but not for easy in and out for us anyway. Bummed."

"One of if not my favorite local nature preserve/park. Currently seems to be under construction. Often pick up lots of litter when I walk through this area, Mostly drink containers. it also gets pretty muddy."
