"Such a hidden gem. Its absolutely amazing to hike. I havent exerienced nature like this in a long time. Turtles like crazy. Snakes. Ive seen deer on the path, ground hogs, beavers, mice, cardinals bee swarms. Very relaxing and great exercise when you go to the 40 acre pond and back."
"Some parts of the trail are single track best suited for mountain bikes. There is considerable history here along the canal. The northern tier from St. Mary's toward Delphos are tree lined with some packed gravel which makes the ride more enjoyable and casual."
