"We walked in for a haircut today and were told to wait approximately 10 mins. There were three barbers working on clients and we ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes minutes. The three barbers used most of the time chitchatting with the clients sharing life stories and personal accounts instead of keeping the conversations to a minimum and giving the clients their haircuts. My friend and I noticed that one of the barbers spent 20 minutes “cutting” an elderly man ‘s hair who barely had two hairs left in his entire head but instead she was just chatting him up. Two of the clients finished and none of the barbers acknowledged our presence to let us know that we’re next, instead they cleaned up their stations and started talking to each other in the back. The last barber, spent additional time trying to sell hair products to her client and did not acknowledge us either. She too cleaned up her booth and joined the others in the back. What was irritating was not only the lack of communication with people waiting in line, but the people working in the salon seemed to have a different demeanor based on the demographics of the clients. I wonder if we didn’t look physically different than them, would we have gotten acknowledgment and better reception. It was also clear that the conversation tone was colder with us while the other clients were greeted and conversed with more warmly. Mind you, my friend was wearing a traditional Middle Eastern garb and it was obvious that it contributed to why we were forgotten and nobody spoke to us. From one perspective, these people need training on how to keep conversations to a minimum if there are other clients waiting in line for a haircut and from another perspective, it’s sad that we’re almost in 2024 and human treatment can be biased based on how different one looks from what is considered “normal”. I would never set foot at this store ever again. You have lost my business and more importantly my respect."

"I don’t write reviews often, but when I do they are juicy. So, the pros.. They were friendly, I received an appointment promptly, phone answered within one or two rings. But, now I believe maybe that was due to the fact I got an unintentional asymmetrical haircut. The difference between the left side of my hair and right side is about one good inch. I don’t think I will be coming back. I’m breaking up with you Supercuts. More like SUPERBUTTS."
