"The falafel is tasty and perfectly textured, the chicken shawarma wrap is divine, the knafeh is the best I've had since my taita died, and they have the cutest Turkish coffees. Plus, the fries are perfectly crisp and the garlic sauce really makes it. I've loved everything I've tried from Halab!"

"Service was much better then the taste of food. We ordered many things but flavor and salt was missing on everything. Not sure what happened."

"Heard about this new spot from Columbus Food Adventures and knew I had to try it while home for the holidays. They serve delicious complementary lentil soup with every meal, and the food is all-around fantastic. We had tabbouleh to start, and split the laham al-ajeen (Middle Eastern meat flatbread) and grilled kibbeh (meatball dumplings made with a bulgur wheat shell). The tabbouleh was a nice fresh element of the meal, with lots of lemon. I have only had laham al-ajeen a few times, but this was the best I have tried - so good. I loved the grilled preparation of the kibbeh (the meat stayed really juicy), and the hummus and baba ghanouj on the side were a nice touch (although it made me wish I had ordered a whole appetizer of the baba!). Finally, in a time when good service is sometimes hard to find, I want to call out the young man who served us - he was friendly and attentive, which made the experience that much better. This will be a new go-to when I’m visiting family!"

"We ordered the Syrian/Iraqi kabob platter with rice & the Mixed Grill. Portions are large and you get complimentary lentil soup. Our server was attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back."

"This place was a lovely surprise! I heard they had just opened and wanted to try them out as I love this type of food. They started us off with some complimentary lentil soup which was delicious. As an appetizer, we shared the Laham Al-Ajeen - it’s like a flatbread with ground meat, tomatoes and spices. As my friends said, it’s like a middle eastern exotic pizza. We got the chicken shawarma, Syrian/Iraqi kabob and the shish tawook, all with rice. All the meats were good but I really liked the rice. Very flavorful. Get the garlic sauce on the side! Don’t forget about the desserts. We got the kunafa as I had tried it before in the Middle East and it was amazing - warm, gooey cheese and syrupy pastry. We would definitely come back and try other items from the menu. Thank you for the great service and hospitality!"
