These folks have obviously been doing it for a while and are still keeping great traditions going! They also had some great shoe and leather products as well. I wish I could give more stars because we need more businesses like this. I'll be bringing all my quality leather shoes and Timberlands here for service and repair."

"i was sad this place didn’t live up to the other high reviews :( i took in my favorite sandals, wanting to get them resoled, the lady at the counter took them and said the cobbler would call when he was done. got the call, picked them up, and not even a week later they were broke again. i came in as asked if there was anything to be done or if i could have a discount because the resole didn’t last, but the lady simply said they couldn’t be resoled and it was only glue. i wish i would have known this sooner, i could have done that myself, and i feel it’s important a customer knows what they’re paying for. hopefully this was just an off chance, or she was having a bad day. edit: when i returned again they did a second glue job free of charge which was unexpected and greatly appreciated! things were much smoother and staff seemed in a better mood too :)"

"When you utilize Gordon’s shoe repair to repair cowboy boots or any type of shoe, just know that they are not up to a standard that you would expect. I always like to support local vendors and businesses, but the cobbler at Gordon’s shoe repair should retire. If you take a look at the cowboy boots that I had re-soled at Gordon’s the quality of workmanship is below acceptable levels. Without asking what color thread I would want they just used black because they said that’s all they can do. Looking at the cowboy boots, they were originally soled with double white thread. When I showed up to Gordon’s shoe repair to retrieve my boots they said that they didn’t see anything wrong with the black on top of the double white stitching and that they’ve never had complaints in the past, so they were dumbfounded by why I was upset with how my boots turned out. But I am confused why there is white on the bottom of the soul, but black on top that is visible that doesn’t make any sense to me at all. I would highly recommend NOT using Gordon shoe repair."
