"Don’t go with this company unless you want poor communication, delays, and a sales team that will tickle your ear to get your money, then fail to follow through. Just avoid them and you’ll save yourself the headache of weeks of delays, and the hassle of having to supervise their work. Not recommended at all! As a follow up since this company has since BLOCKED customers from posting on their Facebook company page: do yourself a favor and go read their company reviews, how they’re disparaging the blocked customers while preventing those customers from sharing their side of the story. Also search for Luxury Pool Concepts - Reviews. It’s a private group that shares the real story."
"Working with them was a disaster. Pay close attention to the "five star" reviews here - they are family members, subcontractors, or paid reviews. Luxury Pool Concepts did not manage the project, did not get permits, did not complete work on time, did not respect our property, did not clean up the job, was not honest/transparent, and did not seem to care about anything other than getting paid. Their website looks nice, but they are too big for their britches and can't handle the jobs they sell (at best) and are manipulative at worst. The only reason our project ever completed was because I personally managed it down to the hour with my own spreadsheet. We were beyond disappointed. I'd be surprised if they are still in business next season with how they "manage" their work and treat their customers. Proceed with extreme caution. (and don't worry, I worked directly with the county to retroactively get my own permits after I discovered their shortcuts and dishonesty)"
"To clarify a few issues regarding the 1 star reviews — I am growing weary of these negative reviews and one sided stories from customers that have no clue what companies are up against and how the processes work from ordering a shell to laying concrete. Here is a picture of my pool that Luxury Pool Concepts installed, yes I am a family member; I’m not hiding that, they have installed pools for friends and family and we have rights to a review as well. Luxury Pool Concepts has never and will never not finish an install for a customer, every one’s problem is timeline. I hear constantly about employees being berated by customers being called names, cursed at, hung up on, treated like dirt when 99.9% of problems are timeline, pool projects don’t happen overnight! Mine took 6 months start to finish. They told me and I know they tell other customers that this is a major construction project and it can take months (although many are done in weeks). They have to move mountains of dirt, use precise leveling & rely on contractors! There is zero grace in this industry and I feel awful for my family being berated on the internet by ungrateful customers. Shame on you all for your hatred, it seems impossible for you to ever say anything nice to anyone about anything. You’re all going to enjoy your pools with your families for years and years to come but the few months it takes to get done fills you with hatred & it’s taken out on those who are working diligently to provide for their families! Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” LPC is the most affordable fiberglass pool installer around here. They have a large selection of pools to pick from and will direct and organize your pool project from start to finish. They will require money up front to order your shell and request to be paid several other times throughout the process in order to get supplies needed to finish your project. Trust the process! Customer service was top notch and well organized business! Definitely recommend to anyone in search of a pool installer."
"Would not recommend Luxury Pool Concepts, we are on week 24. Luxury does not honor nor follow what they put in writing, including their contract, or their word; they do not warranty their work. We have not received the level of service or communication that was sold to us. Many of the issues on our project could have been avoided or quickly resolved if someone from Luxury Pools was onsite to manage the project. We did not receive the 3D CAD consultation or rendering, we did not approve the design schematic. We did not receive a pre-construction meeting. We did not meet with or hear from our project manager until after the project started. When our pool was delivered, he arrived onsite for the first time to collect the next payment before the pool was permitted to come off the truck. This was the first time I was shown the drawing. He was informed of our dissatisfaction with our experience with Luxury, it was clear from my conversation with him that he was not receiving correct or adequate information from Luxury management about our project. As a result of this internal lack of information sharing, the correct materials for our project were not ordered. The delays in work and progress have been numerous with one excuse after another. The equipment pad wasn’t finished because material was missing, the electrician couldn’t finish because the equipment wasn’t finished, grounding couldn’t be completed because grading wasn’t completed, auto cover lid wasn’t installed because they don’t have the correct lid, can’t install correct lid because decking isn’t done, decking completion on hold because correct lid isn’t installed, can’t finish cover install because they don’t have the correct roller. Concrete work on bond beam wasn’t finished until week 7. In the meantime, we have had a leak in the electrical conduit coming from one of the lights or jets for 3 weeks, instead of fixing the root cause the short cut was to spray FlexSeal on the connection from which the leak was discovered. When that didn’t work I was told the gasket/seal needs replaced, now I’m told instead of replacing the bad seal they are going to use an underwater compound in an attempt to stop the leak, which is on order. Equipment has not been turned on. Workers don’t come when I’m told to expect them. Once again, we are on hold while we wait for the correct materials to arrive. Escalating my concerns to James left me more frustrated and lended no reassurances. He asked me how I got his number, was condescending, laughed more than once at my questions or concerns, interrupted, deflected and placed blame on subs and manufactures for the service delays. The subs working on our project have all been professional and friendly. Our frustration lies 100% with Luxury Pool Concepts and their management of our project."
"Luxury describes when they decide to start a project and when they decide to send workers. Please look at all the reviews to decide if the reviewer actually had a pool built. As for our process it was completely unprofessional. We met in February and they told us if we had our deposit to them the following Monday that they would start on June 15th and be finished by July 15th. We paid our deposit and then made a calendar for our Special Needs son who was excited about the start. We met and went over design changes leading up to June 15th. I initiated contact several times leading up to 6/15 and was assured they were starting on time. I received a text on 6/13 asking to meet for a pre-construction meeting on 6/15 at 11:30. 2 days notice for an AM meeting and it was the day they were supposed to start. Obviously I was unhappy and I voiced my opinion. I was told several times in the conversation that they didn’t “like my tone”. We met on 6/19 and they introduced us to our project Mgr. A few days later I was called and told they were dedicating a Mgr just to our project. I agreed with them as long as it was to be completed by 7/15. They assured me they would. They start the project and we have minimal interaction with the contractors. I receive a text at 7:58 pm on 6/28 telling me that my shell arrives tomorrow and “per our contract” we owe the 40%. I explained that I wasn’t home and would be unable to pay it the next day. They told me that not paying would hold up the project. I asked when I was informed that the shell was arriving- since no one from Luxury had reached out to me until I was threatened with delay. I can go on and on and will if someone wants more details. I’ll leave with these 2 points - 1. Luxury will not contact you unless it’s to collect payment. You will have to ask every specific detail 2. When the job was completed I asked when they were cleaning the dirt off of my driveway (dirt from the digging the pool that had spilled several inches deep on the driveway). They told me that it was a construction project and that wasn’t part of the process - keep in mind we paid $129,000 for the pool. I would have assumed it was to be done but Luxury taught me to ask every specific question"
