"Don’t go here. I just left today at 2:50 pm and came in for a simple GEL POLISH. That’s it. My ONLY request to the nail tech was that they not take ANY length off and keep my nails the SAME SHAPE they already are. She decided to take it upon herself to change the shape. Not to mention, my right hand is right back to square one after all these months of growing my nails and my left hand nails are still long. My right hand nails are extremely short. I used to be able to see my nail by looking at the inside of my hand & now they’re hidden again. I said to her that she made the right hand way too short and she gave me some excuse as to why they had to go shorter. Absolutely embarrassing for this salon that their nail tech couldn’t just paint the nails like asked and instead took off ALL length on one hand and left it on the other. I have been coming here for months and will never return again. What a joke having to pay for something you hate and specifically asked them NOT TO DO. Works 42$ I’ve ever spent in my life."

"They are purposely overcharging people by using jell polish. What happened to me is I asked for a basic pedi. The technician came back with the color I wanted in jell format and showed it to me and I shook my head yes. This is a pattern according to the reviews on this page. So my 30$ pedi ended up being 52$. My daughter also left bleeding from her manicure and as soon as we got in the car one of her nails fell off within 10 minutes. BE WARE"

"wish i could give negative stars. they put gel on my mom without asking her and then tried to make her sound stupid by saying she wanted shellac but my mom doesn’t even know what that means. she just asked for regular polish. i got a fill in which normally takes 45 mins max and took almost 2 hours. she kept getting too close to my skin and i kept flinching and then verbally told her that it was hurting me and she acknowledged what i said but then proceeded to continue which caused her to cut my thumb and bleed. that has never happened in the 3 years ive been getting my nails done. then i got charged $20 for black french tips when it said $10 color tips on the price paper. (she said the glitter was free that time) as soon as i got in the car my pinky broke and ive never broken a nail either. i lightly hit it on the seat. they look awful and dirty looking (which isnt on me) they didn’t look dirty until after they were painted. pics are from one hour after they had been done. so mad. cost me $120 for a fill in and pedi. wouldn’t have been mad about the price if they weren’t so bad. i would’ve went back in if they weren’t closed."

"I have been going to Purelux in So. Lebanon for several years now. I found I have better service when I stick with a couple of the technicians there. I went last week and I called and made an appointment with Kim. I've had her in the past. I requested an S&S manicure. I had cut my nails short before I went because I hadn't been in a couple months. She verified I wanted a manicure before proceeding. She never did my cuticles and proceeded to remove what was left of the old S&S that was on my nails. She then started applying the new S&S and the ONLY thing she did that even resembled a manicure is that she trimmed around the side of my nails AFTER the polish had already been applied!!! She then charged me $59.29!!! I have never paid that much there before for S&S and a manicure, especially one I did not get!!!! I will not be returning there!!! Only been about 9 days and already beginning to chip off!!!"

"I Clearly communicated the desired service for my young daughter. I verbally asked for a basic manicure and basic nail polish. They did more than I asked (gel polish) and I was charged $40…. more than double what I expected ($15-18). I sat in the waiting area and did not hover to oversee or I would have noticed it and stopped them. My daughter said they did NOT ask her if she wanted gel. They should have asked me even if they did. When they told me the total I was shocked and reminded them of what I asked for. It was busy and hard to communicate. The person in charge offered to charge for just a basic manicure. But since it was already done, I regretfully paid the full $40. Tip: Ask for costs up front for exactly what you want. ***Write it down on paper to confirm. *Pay attention as they perform the service because I have had them try to “add on” on in previous visits for myself and I always have to remind them of what service I requested. The sneaky upgrades and add ons without permission have always been a problem for me there. The difficulty in communication and mumbling with the masks on makes it hard. I’ll be trying a new salon for my family from now on. Facility is very clean. Person in charge is polite."
