"The Legends is a great golf course with a few challenging holes, such as the short par-4 hole #2 on the East course. The course is relatively flat, but there are numerous ponds and lakes to contend with, as well as a healthy population of geese who love to “quack” on your backswing. The pace of play is typically slow, but I recently played on a late Fall outing and there were very few golfers out. I played the East front and the front South course and found the par-3s to be relatively short and manageable. The prices are competitive and affordable throughout the season. The course is well-maintained, with most of the fallen autumn leaves picked up and the putting greens mostly cleared. The golf carts are equipped with GPS, which can be helpful for navigating the course. However, they can also be annoying if you stray too far off the course, as they tend to beep incessantly. The one negative thing about my last experience was that the clubhouse closed shortly after we finished our round (about 4 PM). This was on a Sunday when the Cleveland Browns were playing a close game. We walked into the clubhouse to catch the end of the game, but the woman working there shut off the game and told us we were closed. I thought this was inconsiderate, especially given that Massillon is a football town and the Browns were about to win a close game against their rivals. I would have thought that the clubhouse would have been willing to let paying customers finish watching the game, especially since there were still golfers and golf carts out on the course. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The Legends and would recommend it to golfers of all skill levels. The course is challenging but fair, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, I would suggest avoiding the clubhouse on Sundays during football season."

"Great Course and very well maintained! A little young but it provides some challenging holes. Great for beginners and seasoned golfers alike. A note to the management, our cart kept stopping while on the cart path on North. Was saying we were in restricted areas when on the cart path."

"First of all, the course conditions were great. Staff was super friendly. Greens have a lot of undulations and were consistent and healthy. Pace of play was slightly lower than average, but it was quite busy, so there was a lot of 'hurry up and wait' for my round. Hazards aplenty here and a good variety of hole layouts. Bunkers are suffering a bit. The short game practice area has to be one of the best public offerings around: two large bunkers and room for 50 yd approaches! My only gripe was that it was a HOT day, and there was no drinking water on course(not a ton of trees for shade either). I saw a sign inside prior to my round that stated a beverage cart would be around, but I never saw one. Staff 10/10 Practice Facilities 7/10 Greens 8/10 Food ?/10 Carts/paths 8/10 Overall an amazing value, and I can't wait to check it out again!"

"We use to play here frequently and it was always in decent enough condition. We left 8 years ago and returned recently and played here. We played the south and east course and they were in absolutely phenomenal condition, fairways and greens. We were so completely surprised and quite pleasantly! Can't wait to go back now and play north and whichever other one. Can't wait!!"
