Deka Lash Centerville

"I’ve been going to this Deka Lash for several months now (with two different lash technicians) and unfortunately have only just realized that I’ve been getting ripped off. I’ve been paying $115 per month (plus $15-20 tips each session) for lashes that are half gone after a week and nearly nonexistent after 2 weeks when I go in for a refill. I’m pretty new to getting my lashes done, so I had no idea that this was not normal, especially after one of the techs (a “master lash artist” that you have to pay extra to book with) assured me my retention was okay. I even asked if there was anything I could do to help them stay on longer and I was told that I had “great retention.” I recently traveled to another city for the holidays and stopped by a lash studio there when I was due for a fill. THREE FULL WEEKS later, the lashes that tech put on me weren’t even halfway gone and still looked full and beautiful. I can’t believe I’ve been wasting all that money for a few days of decent looking lashes when that little retention is NOT normal. I feel very misled and taken advantage of, and I wish I could get those hundreds of dollars back. I have a feeling this location purposefully uses less glue to keep people coming back sooner than they need to and spending more money than necessary. Or maybe they unintentionally just don’t train their artists very well. Whatever they’re doing, they’re not doing it right. Even when I was asked why I was cancelling my membership, the girl on the phone had no comment as to why their lashes don’t stay on for more than a week. I can’t speak for the other services they offer, but I would not recommend getting lash extensions here. The only reason I’m leaving more than 1 star is because the studio is clean and most of the girls are polite and outwardly friendly. Very disappointed and after 4 regrettable months of being a consistent customer I will not be returning. (The first photo is of my lashes 12 days after one of my last appointments at Deka Lash Centerville. The second is of my lashes 21 days after my appointment at the other lash studio. Both sets of lashes looked nearly identical when first applied.)"
