About the Business
Tiffin-Seneca Child Care Center, located at 131 East Perry Street in Tiffin, Ohio, is dedicated to providing a safe and enriching environment for children ages 6 weeks through grade 5. Our mission is to help each child thrive socially, physically, emotionally, and educationally. We operate as a large extended family, welcoming all members of your family into our community. Our teachers are certified in CPR, child abuse reporting, and first aid, and our staff-child ratios exceed state minimum requirements. We follow the Creative Curriculum of the Ohio Department of Education and offer developmental screenings for children ages 4 months to Pre-K. Our program is Three Star rated with Ohio's Step Up to Quality program, and we provide healthy meals and snacks in accordance with governmental guidelines. Tiffin-Seneca Child Care Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and operates in partnership with Trinity United Church of Christ. "This place is terrible. First of all, not non-profit, they make about 10k A WEEK. Second, they neglect my child like crazy. She comes home starving, thirsty, and with a full diaper just about every day. I sign incident reports almost every week because they don't watch the kids. If we get there a little late, they refuse to feed my kid til lunch. They recently had a picture day and a lady from there just called me to tell me it's my kid's fault she didn't get a picture and my fault for not finding out about them on my own. One day, they had a stranger watching the room that REFUSED to let me take MY KID without my ID, something I didn't have on me because I use my fingerprint to get it. She literally took my daughter from my arms because she wasn't supposed to be in there. I've only been there 4 months and it has been nothing but problems every single week. My daughter is constantly getting awful diaper rashes, scrapes and gashes, and bruises there. And they just keep raising their already unfair prices. Currently looking for both a new daycare and an attorney. They don't even deserve the one star."
