"At first, I was a little skeptical about going in and getting my hair cut, because this place was not the place that I thought it was. Well, when I first went in, I looked around and didn't see any colored stylists, or any males, because I was thinking that I was going to a barbershop, but lo and behold there was only Caucasian female stylist. So, my stylist name was Reese and after a few minutes she came out and told me to sit in the chair, and I did. And she asked me how do you guys cut yalls hair? Which told me that she had never cut colored peoples hair before, and there was no male barbers in their salon. I said okay, because I had a good vibe about Reese. So, to make a long story short, Reese did a pleasing job on my hair for not ever cutting a colored person's hair before. So good job, Reese! I hope to see you again."

"I've gone to the same girl twice now. It cost $150 for foils, cut, shampoo, and blow dry, not including her tip. That seemed very expensive, especially since i have short hair and it's not very thick. I don't want to write her name because, she's very sweet and I enjoyed speaking with her. However, both times, my hair came out very brassy even after a toner. I've used the purple shampoo and conditioner to help, but to no avail. I made sure to let her know a few different times of a gray area in the front that I wanted colored. She missed it both times. Also, I shave the underneath of my hair in the back. Both times, the shaved area was uneven, almost crooked and choppy. My husband had to fix it for me. (Photo shows the shaved area already fixed but very brassy.) I had her do my nails once. Unfortunately, the gel polish chipped the next day on several fingers. She does a nice job with male haircuts, which was why I thought she'd do a great job on the back of my hair. She may be fresh out of school and still getting her feet wet. I'll try the salon once more because it's clean and the staff are very friendly. But, I'll go to a different stylist. Update: I've changed my review from 3 stars to 1 star. The owner read my post and told me to find a new salon. That's an incredibly immature response and not one I would expect from the owner. She stated I could have spoken to them in person. However, I did speak directly to the stylist telling her repeatedly what I wanted. That same stylist made fun of another customer out loud in the salon for calling to complain about her red hair color, asking for it to be redone. My review is fair, honest and my prerogative as a paying customer. Shame on Krew Kuts."

"My son gets his haircut here. And I got highlights done.. They always do a good job. And they aren't to expensive. Very nice salon"
