Golf Galaxy

"I recently bought a fairly popular and not inexpensive golf glove at the North Olmsted Golf Galaxy location, the cashier informed me that the sparkling white glove couldn't be returned because “they dont usually do returns on gloves”. I would say a glove tearing after 2-3 holes is a special circumstance, in this case I would be wrong. In my eyes this is terrible customer service, again maybe I am wrong. When one purchases a glove, like I do exclusively and often, from Golf Galaxy you expect a certain level of quality, finger holes forming, I get that, its very soft leather, but for the back of the hand to tear is unacceptable and for them to not address that is bad business. I have spent, in the last 6 months alone, a few thousand dollars, maybe more at this North Olmsted Golf Galaxy and for then to tell me to buzz off isnt okay. Sad to say they will no longer be on the receiving end of my money, and I will be telling all my golfing buddies and anyone else that cares to listen, about the terrible customer service. I will take my chances online I suppose. Bad, bad business…. Garbage customer appreciation and service….."

"Second time in store. Figured I would give them another chance. Went to purchase putter. I had to ask an associate 2x for assistance. He casually ignored me and help 2 other people. Will not return to this store again. Same experience both times as if I didn’t belong in the store and or that I am not wanted there. Horrible customer service."

"My second time at this store. A awesome experience both times. The staff asks if you need help. Eve one friendly and enjoyed my shopping experience. I have purchased from this location online before but finally finally visited inside. I don’t know where the negative reviews conform but all my experiences have been excellent"

"Horrible experience. I know that in todays age there aren’t many competent retail employees but I went in to exchange a driver for the same one but different loft. I was extremely clear that I just wanted to exchange not return my driver. I went to find the one I needed because no one offered to help me (ok fine) when I went to finish the exchange the cashier returned the driver and my wife’s card was refunded (it was a gift from her). They completely ignored what I wanted. When I asked why the manager basically accused me of trying to do fraud because I didn’t have her card with me. After a hour they basically shooed me out because they were closing. Long story short I have been without a driver for a week, missed multiple rounds and lost out on the money I have spent for my outing. All because they couldn’t figure out a simple exchange."

"Went to Golf Galaxy on July 31, 2022 at around 11:00AM. My wife is looking to buy a set of golf clubs. I figured that they wouldn't be busy as most people would be golfing. I was correct, there were only about 8-10 people in the store. I asked an associate if they could help me out. He said I needed to schedule an appointment for a fitting. He said it would cost $99 but that I would get that back if I purchased clubs from them. That seemed reasonable. I asked if they could get us going. I was told there wasn't anything available. I spoke with Charles Hood and another guy(don't recall his name) I was there for another 45 minutes. I purchased a putter and my son purchased a driver. I never did see anyone getting fitted. All I saw was a lot of associates walking around and "looking busy". Maybe other stores are better, but I'll never go back to this one. One bright note, The cashier, Nicole was friendly and nice."
