"Seems stores on the Westside have much more variety than the Eastside that's why I love coming here"

"Store appearance was nice. Once I reached the register, my items were rung and I submitted my payment (card balance well over the $12 I spent) the cashier was given a declined error, so I attempted again, same error, tried another card to split payments between other payment methods. The cashier must have been fairly new and there began a line behind me. It was able to take $4 and some odd change off of my one card and had declined the other. She had called over for some help, I'm unsure of the manager's name. As a manager explained to the cashier the issues with charging partial payments on credit cards. Is that you are unable to refund it or only charge half of the amount and wipe the other amount and the bill clear. So obviously some frustration a rose is the manager explain this to the cashier. I explained all I had other than the large amount of money I had on the original card that was being declined, and shouldn't have been. Was the 450 that I had on the other card that it went through. It seemed as I was a bother to the manager, and that I was less than since I couldn't pay my full bill. I left with only three items that day. A little upset on how I was feeling after the whole ordeal. I contacted the original card and spoke with them and they advised me the excessive amount of money I had already knew was on that card was on that card and available. But they advised me it was ran twice for some reason which is why it had received a decline so quickly. Brandon I know working in retail can be frustrating at times, and it is a dollar store. So the workers would assume when you come to the register you're able to pay. And with a forming line behind me and the new cashier, I felt as the manager just assumed that I didn't have the money, and what a problem I was to have to fix the new cashiers receipts or drawer. Later that evening I was charged twice on my original card for the 12 something and some add sense. But thankfully had noticed that they had realized their mistake, and had credited me back one of the amounts. Rule of thumb don't judge, you never know! Probably won't be visiting that location again. I do like to say that the new cashier was very kind patient and understanding the whole time."

"There's a lot of amazing stuff in the store. Stuff that you would normally buy for $4 or more and it is only $1.25 there. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's fun to just walk around and see what they have because stock does change. Dollar tree has been changing with the seasons and the holidays. They had a large collection of stuff for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's and are now putting out Easter."

"I love dollar tree but I have never had such a rude cashier....Sirree. Apparently she was annoyed by a difficult customer who was asking alot of questions and being very loud but that gives her no reason to be so rude to the people she was checking out. I asked her if her lane was open and she through her hands up in the air and said sure why not with an attitude. I offered to go to the other lane if she was closed but she said she'd take me. Throughout the checkout she was mumbling and was sarcastic when I asked her a question. Even put her head on the counter complaining about being there. There was only about 7 people in the entire store. I don't know what her deal was but in troubling times like these where people are actually losing jobs, she should be grateful that she has one and if she can't handle the heat then maybe she shouldn't be working in retail. It's a shame that the younger cashier in the other lane who ended up checking out the difficult customer had better manners then this grown woman. Kudos to her."
