"Rose garden is beautiful in late spring to early summer when roses are in full bloom. Fountain and roses are a nice backdrop for wedding, prom, and homecoming photos. Beach is ok, shallow swimming area with a lifeguard posted during peak season. Sand could be nicer but it is a lake beach. Summer beach volleyball tournaments are held here. Also a good spot to watch storms out over the lake."
"Great beach! Beautiful place. There are some lovely memorials around the park. Beautiful flower gardens all over and a fantastic view of the sunset! Plenty of room for activities and enjoying a moment in time at the park."

"This is one of my favorite places in Lorain County. The beach is always clean and quiet. I love taking my kids to swim and the beach playground is an amazing bonus. I'm thrilled to hear that there is funding to upgrade it as it's a bit worn down (to be expected as it's on a beach). I love the rose garden. There is equipment to rent. It's just a great area representing what our little community has potential to be."
