Horizon Education Centers: East Lorain is a high-quality early childhood education and youth development institution located at 2500 Colorado Avenue, Lorain, Ohio, United States. Since 1978, we have been providing affordable care, educational curriculums, and enrichment opportunities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in Western Cuyahoga County and Lorain County. Our 13 conveniently located centers offer a variety of child care programs all day, as well as before school, wrap-around, and after-school programs for children K through 12 years. We also have 10 Horizon Centers offering these programs. Our mission is to ensure that every child receives the best possible education and care, regardless of financial struggles. "If I could give it a no star most definitely parents if you love your kids please don’t send them here they will be sick nearly every day these people don’t clean there’s only two teachers that are awesome and look professional the others unless role out of bed and just come in. They will call you nearly everyday for stupid reasons. My kids hardly got sick but they started here and forget it my son cries not to come yet alone I walked in a lady I never seen before scaring the kids with lights off my sons classroom was crying historically of course nothing was done. I never leave reviews this is my first to help parents in not enrolling the baby’s horrible place just horrible. The good reviews on here are probably the parents that work here for free childcare they have no other option the one staff brought her child in with pink eye these people don’t care ."
"Imagine if they are stupid, my daughter is 11 years old and she knows how to use the asthma pump and they took it away from me until the box says how she can use it. That's why my daughter always goes to her doctor and learns from him. and these brutes don't know but nothing they learn to do better cleaning since the children are always sick there and it stinks from the moment you enter"
"I have sent both of my daughters to the East Lorain Horizon location and we love it here. They are very organized as a whole. We absolutely love Miss Stephanie as the introduction teacher. Overall, we are very satisfied with this Horizon location and I very often recommend it to my friends with younger children."
"My son has been attending HEC for a little over a month now and he absolutely loves it. He has picked up on a lot of great qualities and is very excited to share his few hours with Mrs. Stephanie and Ms.Peyton. He shares every detail and is very happy as he does it. Mrs. Tammy, and Mrs. Rebecca always say Hello when their outside helping. The Health Checker Ms. Jessica is extremely nice and is always positive and happy as she greets all parents and children."
"my Son is finishing up his second year at horizon. He does half days with miss Stephanie and she is amazing. My son has developed a lot while in their school and I couldn’t be more thankful for them! Overall great school and amazing teachers!"
