"I had the most amazing sales person helping me. Great staff. When I find my receipt and if her name is on it, I will acknowledge her help."
"Found the shoe I wanted. The only two boxes in my size had one missing. I assumed that if that's the case, they must have them in the back. So, I brought the box up to purchase it. The girl behind the counter asked me, "Did you check all the other boxes to see if it's in there by mistake?", to which I replied "no" and paused. I guess I wrongfully thought someone would assist me with that. So, I took the cue and went back and proceeded to search the ten other boxes, pulling each out one by one. When I was on the last box, the girl finally came to the aisle to assist. I guess she noticed after the time period I was gone that it was no easy task? She then offered to call another store or order them, but the experience was so terrible I didn't want to bother. So, come to find out they didn't have the perfect shoes for my new dress AND terrible customer service. This experience was terrible. I won't be back, and I definitely won't suggest this store to anyone."
"Very disappointing recent shopping experience at DSW on Monroe street. Went looking for a pair of shoes for my adult child that had very specific requirements as they were in a wedding party. Could not find a single person to help or even ask a question of. The only staff person I saw was very busy ringing up customers. I use a walker for mobility issues and the store was such a disaster there were whole sections I could not even begin to get too. Boxes, shoes, socks and other items covered the floor making it impossible to navigate. Huge disappointment. I will not return."
"The store was not clean. There were open boxes on the floor in every aisle of ladies shoes. No one offered to help me. There were stacks of shoe boxes in the entryway. It looked like they were reorganizing. The entire time I shopped the 3 employees chatted. No one touched any of the disarray in the store. Not likely to return to a DSW."
