"Horribly disappointed with the professionalism and business practices of Dr. Marshall. I brought my daughter to this practice when it was called Fogel and Marshall. Dr. Fogel retired and Dr. Marshall took over the practice. She completely changed the environment and has worsened the business. She has 7 chairs that are usually filled but she is the only orthodontist in the practice. My daughter has sat in a chair for over an hour waiting to be worked on. This hour is on top of the 20 minutes she had to wait to go back to her chair. This is all time my daughter is missing from school but obviously Dr. Marshall doesn’t care if her patients are missing school time. Her time is obviously more important than their time. So children miss school time and parents have to miss time from work so she can overbook just to make more money. I would go more into how she treats her dental hygienists but that is their story to share. What I’ve witnessed her treat her employees is shameful. Micromanaging and controlling experienced employees is rarely good practice. My daughter had her braces put on in 2020 and it is now 2023. Dr. Marshall insists she isn’t wearing her rubber bands but I know my daughter is because I see her every day and she is. She spends less than 10 minutes on a patient. Without really evaluating why my daughter’s teeth isn’t correcting, she passes the buck and takes no responsibility or action to correct teeth. My daughter’s last visit she left and complained her teeth were hurting more than usual. We then noticed her teeth were rotating and going crooked. I brought her back the next day and asked them to fix her teeth. I also asked for her medical records. When Dr. Marshall learned I was asking for my daughter’s medical records she tried to refuse treatment to my daughter. So, instead of correcting her mistake, she was going to let my daughter leave with crooked teeth and in pain and not take responsibility for her negligence. She did fix the wire but nothing else after I insisted she actually do her job as an orthodontist. I guess she forgot the Hippocratic oath part about “do no harm.” Dr. Marshall is negligent as a doctor and is a horrible business owner. Her micromanagement of her employees who are experienced dental hygienist is indicative of a person who doesn’t know what they are doing. Instead of good business and employee practices, she defaults to controlling and micromanaging her employees. There are plenty of good orthodontist out there who respect their patients and employees. Dr. Marshall is only in this to make money and cares nothing about her patients."

"This is hands down the best orthopedics office you can go to. They are so caring, kind and sweet. I'm a new patient they were able to get me in the same day and fix my retainer. I went to bright smile and Chestnut Commons after waiting 2 weeks for a appt to be told that gluing half of my retainer was going to cost me $450 and had me leave in tears. I cried for a good hour before calling Elyria orthopedics. Their receptionist Megan was so kind and sweet. She went and talked to the orthopedics dentist. And she agreed to see me the same day, fix my retainer and set me up with an appointment to make a new retainer. They are extremely affordable and will work with you if you have personal problems. Going to this office most definitely made me feel like I've been there a million times before. They were so sweet to my 5-year-old son. And they were so sweet to me. They listen to my concerns, my problems with the other dental offices. And they were very caring. I would recommend anyone and everyone to come to this amazing office. They will make you feel like family and will get you taken care of!!! Best orthodontist in Elyria!!!!!"
