"The store itself is large, so that’s nice. Very friendly workers, another great thing. However, my God.. why in the world would you STAPLE tags to clothing?! Some even double stapled. Two of the shirts I bought I had to CUT them out of the neckline because otherwise they would poke through to my sons neck.. why? It makes no sense. The glassware is so overpriced I had to laugh. I get brand new stuff from TjMaxx at the same price.. if not cheaper lol These are donated items with some, priced at $20-$30! There was a vase for $12 and I literally saw the SAME one at TJMaxx for $7.. I went back and bought that one. I think the concept is great, but not thrift store prices. Again the workers are really friendly and that made the experience nice"
"I drive almost 1hour.I find N olmstead value world awesome ,clean,staff polite. Wish I new the days for50% I’d come more often (besides holiday special) Especial,sheets,fabric. Senior looking for affordable items. Especially craft items."
"I love Value World. I go on a mission for whatever I need, like Christmas sweaters or yoga pants. There is always a good selection to choose from. I usually find what I'm looking for and a few more things that catch my eye. The prices of items are comparable to other thrift stores in the area. It has a nice layout, and it smells clean, too. I always enjoy my visit."
"Hello my friends, Kentucky Mike here again with a honest review that seems to align with the comment's I see here. As I have stated before, I feel badly 4 bad mouthing any non profit or charity. I wish to tell you first, any store that does not post prices is shady because it charges you by how nice u are dressed thinking what you can afford. No price on CD'S, or half of the other items I looked at. The pots they had were high and to make even more cash they separated the lids 4 $2.00 to $3.00 more 4 more profit. No cloths had prices as most of the store. My law professor would say "Heartless Profiteers" I say you are going to pay 4 this new store!! I believe that this is a private owned store, u must forgive me if I am incorrect. The product here is free and should b at a fair price 4 the less fortunate. Well off people will do well here. I plan on going to the Value World on Detroit Ave to check prices against this Store. I have been shopping at thrift stores my whole life. Tired of Heartless Profiteers who take advantage of people, non profit, charity..."
