NOMS My Family Practice - Westlake

"My NP Kristin is always great, but this office staff is horrible. They are lazy, rude and they lie. Just to name a few issues I have had several times with them. I have submitted complaints on the Noms website as directed, most recently 2/2/24 and have never been acknowledged or answered. When you have a medicine, it is imperative you take, and it is on back order when you find it, there is a sense of urgency to fill that script. Well not for the Westlake Noms staff especially Megan she is the rudest one. I have been trying to get my meds filled for a month and I have found them twice and twice lost out because this office refused to do their jobs. I still don't have my meds, btw, unfortunately, it looks like it's time to find a different Doctor. Kristin and Gerace are the best, but it is that office staff that is costing them patients."

"Agreeing wholeheartedly with the "Zehdner" review on here, this office was excellent until selling out to NOMS. My experiences with the doctors themselves was always great (Gerace was mine, limited but very good experiences w/ Walsh and the PA), but I'm sorry to say I'm now searching for a new family doctor. I'm probably going to encounter the same issues pretty much anywhere else, but I couldn't continue after my experiences this past summer. Not going to get into the whole sob story here, but suffice it to say that they failed spectacularly to "be there" when I needed them the most. I cannot condone it and won't support it. Best of luck to all of us shmucks out here swimming upstream."

"The doctors are great but the office staff is incredibly unhelpful. Dr Walsh has been my pcp for years and he is a great doctor in my opinion. I have been going through a rough time and wanted to get a second opinion with Dr Gerace, but was told by the office staff that they don’t really do that unless I was fully switching doctors and asked me if I’d like to see a nurse practitioner instead, which I agreed to. I then called back and asked if I could switch doctors to Dr Gerace so I could have that second opinion from him as a few of my family members go to him. Never ONCE did I say I didn’t like their other doctors or nurse practitioners. They told me they had to speak to Dr Gerace about it and would call back, and I was called back by the office manager. She seemed very upset with me and was explaining that even if I switched doctors I would still have to see the doctors and nurse practitioners that I didn’t like and it didn’t make sense for me to see another doctor at that practice. I’m still just taken aback by this. I explained to her what had happened and that there had to be a miscommunication somewhere because all I wanted was a second opinion by another doctor and was told I couldn’t by the office staff and that that wasn’t something they did. As soon as I explained to her what happened, it was suddenly so easy to make an appointment with dr. Gerace. I would completely understand her point of it being uncomfortable for the doctors and nurse practitioners for me to switch doctors if I had a major problem with one of them since they do all work together, but that’s blatantly just not what I said, and I’m upset and confused that it was just assumed that when all I asked for was an appointment to get a second opinion."

"I love that they have so many ways to help if I need something my doctor always has another person I barely have to go out of network. Only for vision and dental. And my doc really cares you can tell all over her."

"The front desk staffing is always snobby, and the wait time for blood work is totally unacceptable, over an hour wait!! Not to mention the sign on the door says that they open at 830am, but I get here at 810, and there are people already waiting inside for lab work!!! Need to do better!!!!!"
