"Desi Review: Falafel was good. Lamb Shank was more like Goat curry, not recommended for Desis. White rice was good. Dill rice was not good, probably go for rice with cranberries on them. Chicken and Lamb Kaboobs were good. I went with 4 kids and we were given corner seat near the Restrooms. After eating the food, we noticed every table had hot sauce and Tea was being served. No one ever came to check upon us. Try to get the seat in the middle area, those tables seem to get better service."

"This cute places reminds me of eating dinner at home. Price is very reasonable knowing how big the portion is. I recommend going to this place with a bigger group so you can try multiple dishes. I’m not a big fan of their desserts."

"Awesome Persian place! Amazing food and great service! And the lamb biriyani is huge, I mean HUGE. The picture does not sure how big it is, but after we finished, it looked like no one even touched it! The left over for that one dish did not fit into one big takeout box, and it was only 23 bucks and it tasted so great! Easily became my one of my favorite restaurant in town!"

"Temper your expectations. I think the high rating come from the value for money maybe. One appetizer and one mixed grill is enough for two people. There's a lot of hummus (or not enough pita), so I used it to sauce up that huge amount of rice. You could also use the hot sauce. I didn't like the desserts. I prefer baklava that is more flavorful and sweeter and wetter. This one was dry. No reservation needed (when I visited in weekday) unless you have a huge party. Order at counter then food brought to table."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The chicken and steak kabobs were exceptional, incredibly tender and juicy. They stand out as some of the best kabobs I've had in Chicago. The dessert was a delightful surprise with the addition of flowers, imparting a high-intense after taste flavor. It added a unique and memorable touch to the experience."
