"This place is as it says: a village style, mom & pop diner. Old style, breakfast/early lunch hours, and reasonable prices. Nothing is fancy or "decorated" on the plate to make it look better than it is. You get it as it's stated on the menu. Clean and simple but a nice serving size so you don't feel cheated. I ordered a short stack of pancakes. There was nothing short about it. It was a very large portion and tasted good as well. Everyone cleaned their plates. We got there in good timing because around 10am it started filling up. We definitely beat the rush. Service got fewer stars because our waitress seemed overwhelmed. She was an older lady. We received everything we asked for she just was kind of short and snappy with us at times."
"First-time patrons - greeted by super friendly staff. Sat down, ordered, and served within 20 minutes! Corned beef hash IS made in house, cinnamon bun pancakes are to die for - covered in cinnamon sugar and even have cream cheese icing. Last but not least, the eggs benedict was a generous combination of thick ham with plenty of hollandaise to go around."
"Great little retro diner , with very good food & good service . It’s a busy little place . I had the breakfast food & it was delicious , my sister had chicken sandwich & fries . We was passing through town looking 4 good food & we found it t here . If ur looking 4 good food , check this little retro restaurant out , u won’t be disappointed ."
"A classic diner in the full sense with the right decor and atmosphere. There's a long counter facing the kitchen, few tables and booths lining the wall. The menu is short and simple, exactly what the menu at a diner should be. The portions are big and prices have yet to be strongly impacted by inflation. A great place to enjoy a meal and take a brief trip back in time."
"Very cute retro diner. The staff were very attentive, making sure food came out of the kitchen as ordered. Wish I knew the waitresses name to give kudos, but they both were exceptional. My eggs were perfectly over easy. Loved every part of it. Its been awhile since Ive seen such care. Thank you"
