"I have lived next door to Circle K for 7 years now, my kids love going up there, we get our gas and snacks. People were always friendly until this self check out machine was introduced. It cause more problems than solutions. The lines are backed up with one person always just standing there unless you need tobacco products. It takes twice as long than it would have, if a person just checked you out. We will choose to go to Bennet and Laskey which is two blocks away and get our gas from Kroger."

"Circle K on Lewis Ave. I was told I HAD to use the self checkout. I told the newbie worker I didn't want to use it. She turned her back to me and walked away saying her manager told her to do it & she didn't want to get in trouble with him for me. I put in a $100. bill and a $10. bill. Machine spits out the $10. bill WITH A CORNER RIPPED OFF. 0 credit for the $100. that is already in their machine. Manager (or whoever he was) comes out, says he saw me ON CAMERA snag the $100. bill & put it back in my wallet. I had put a $5. bill back in my wallet that was not needed for the transaction. I told him he saw no such thing and was lying. I emptied my wallet showing that jackazz there was NO $100. in my wallet. I told him it was still in the machine & to take the machine apart & he would find the $100. PLUS the torn corner of my $10. bill. He goes to the back again, then comes out with another worker who was going to take the machine apart. Then, they are all apologies, that they reviewed the camera footage again and saw that I had only put the $5. back in my wallet. Then they told the cashier to just check me out, so I completed the transaction and left as they were still trying to cover their azzes by blaming it on the machine and apologizing. And, to make this ordeal even worse, there were people in the store who saw them basically accuse me of being a thief! SO- they have one worker who is a liar AND another worker who abuses the elderly through bullying."

"Just because self checkout is a thing in the store does not mean it is ok for the worker to be focused on their phone at the register, and redirect customers to the self checkout. You're at work. That tweet can wait"

"Came in for some items and milk. Everything on the dairy side was expired! How do you have milk from April 10th front facing, when it’s April 18th?! Horrible!!! Also, why have any cashiers even in the store when we need help with self check and they roll their eyes like we’re such a bother to them while they play on their phones and not do anything??"

"I don't know how anyone thought it was a good idea to force everyone to use the self checkout machine. Especially when there are multiple faster cashiers standing by wanting to help. It takes twice as long for the same service. I literally spent 10 minutes in line yesterday waiting for a 6 person queue to work it's way through the self checkout. Insane. I'd rather go to a normal gas station."
