"I visited this store on Friday. Katie, the senior bookseller and Manager on Duty was seriously the nicest person I’d run into all week. Her warm compassion on an extremely cold day really touched me."

"At my dad’s request, On Christmas Eve, I went to pick up 3 gift cards because our kids love shopping at B&N. He gave me cash and I paid for them with that cash. At the register, the cashier signed me up for the rewards account, I bought a few gifts and also paid for the gift cards. A few days later, my kids came to use their GCs and cash at the store. We rang the stuff and the cards were shockingly empty. I didn’t have the receipt any longer and I got increasingly livid at how dismissive the cashier and the next in line manager were at my explanation. They were increasingly annoyed at my ask to check the cameras or ask about the possibility of me having been scammed or if they can check their records for a cash overage that day. Finally, one of them mentioned the store manager and I was clearly upset, I said I was going nowhere until spoke to the store manager. The kids were clearly disappointed. The store manager came after some 10-15 minutes. Despite my idiocy of not saving a paper receipt, assuming my transaction would be saved through my brand spanking new rewards account, the store manager graciously took down transaction date and time information to go check the cameras. Although I’ll never really know what she looked for or actually found on the records, she came through with restoring our faith in the brand and the store. I’m still disappointed that I had to go through 2 Poor to average cashiers and maybe even a manager, for someone to treat me like a customer in real distress and need. Our kids are happy and things were turned around for them to continue to enjoy the store and brand."

"I enjoyed barns and nobles they have a large variety of books and gift selection. They also have a section upstairs for children and a descent size toy selection as well. My only complaint is that they are pricey. Spent $10 on one birthday card and $25 on a trivia game. Way overpriced, in my opinion."

"I recently visited this charming book store, and I must say it's a hidden gem. The cozy atmosphere creates the perfect ambiance for book lovers and those looking to relax with friends. They offer a fantastic selection of books, gifts, and cards. What sets this place apart is their impressive collection of board games and toys, making it an ideal spot for families to choose which game they'd wanna play next on game night. And when you're ready for a break, their cafe offers delicious options to enjoy with friends. Highly recommended for a leisurely hangout!"
