About the Business
Welcome to Bug & Bear Play Cafe, a vibrant and welcoming family-centered play destination located at 130 East 5th Street in Marysville, Ohio. Our mission is to provide a haven of joy, creativity, and community for children and parents alike.
At Bug & Bear Play Cafe, kids can explore imaginative play spaces that spark their creativity and encourage creative play. From play villages to a Guidecraft loft climber, our play areas are designed to transport children to a world of fun and adventure. Our soft, padded flooring and age-appropriate toys ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all.
In addition to our play spaces, we offer a calm and quiet reading area, a creation station, and a light table where children can craft their masterpieces. Private gatherings are also available, providing exclusive access to our space for worry-free celebrations.
Please note that socks are required in our play space, and grippy socks are a must for kids. We also have a setup policy, cleanup provided by staff, and payment and cancellation guidelines in place for parties.
Bug & Bear Play Cafe offers engaging activities for kids of all ages, from arts and crafts to imaginative play in custom playhouses. Our activities are designed to stimulate the imagination, encourage creative thinking, and foster connections among children.

"Such a cute and clever concept and perfect place to go during a dreary Ohio winter. Clean, bright and well stocked/organized. Something to do for your baby up to your little kid! Front desk lady was so welcoming and sweet. They have coffee and snacks and local baked goodies to purchase. Clean restroom with kid insert on the potty and large changing/nursing room. Street parking which isn’t my fav, but it worked! My 3 year old is already asking to go back. We made the trip in from Columbus and I’m so glad we did! Thanks for this little gem."
"We had a birthday party for our 3 year olds and one year old at Bug & Bear Play Cafe! It was absolutely perfect! The space couldn’t have been more clean, cute, and organized. We had about 12 children there, ages months to 6 years, and there was something for EVERYONE. All the other parents at the party were raving about what a great space it was also! We will definitely be retuning for play and recommending to anyone else who needs a great play space or party space."
