"I grew up in Defiance. As a kid I always loved the maple filled sticks!!! I don’t remember even trying another donut there (but I am sure I did). A few years ago we brought my daughter and grandkids to visit family and had to stop here more than once. As luck would have it, two years in a row I have been through for my job, first working in Fort Wayne one day and Toledo the next. Guess what’s in between? Home and Meek’s Pastry Shop!! I got 4 maple filled stick and 2 cinnamon rolls for the road. Don’t judge! I didn’t eat them all at the same time, but I wanted to!"
