"Zero stars not available. This monster saw my daughter 3 years ago. 1 visit. 30 minutes. Somehow had her diagnosed and prescribed a strong narcotic with the statement, “this drug is so powerful she won’t need therapy”. Gross negligence from a board licensed psychiatrist. He’s a pill pusher. Read the reviews. He clearly has a pattern. In addition his office called me today to say that we still owed the copay from that visit 3 years ago as they “just realized the company who did their billing wasn’t billing for or collecting copay’s under $25”. Am I just supposed to take your word for this massive oversight? I mean, yes it’s only $20. But if your office is run so poorly, which based on the archaic practices of your physician, I’m guessing it is, I’m not simply taking your word for it. Here’s an idea. Go after your billing company. Because I’m not quite sure any of you have your stuff together. Dr Burke is practicing lobotomies thru prescription medication. 10 out of 10 do not recommend."

"Great staff. Dr. Burke is awesome. As far as these other reviews, they need to remember u see a psychiatrist for medicine and a psychologist for therapy. This is a psychiatrist, ur most likely going to be medicated....."

"An absolute disgrace to the field of psychiatry. At first he seemed incredibly sweet and kind but when you challenged his line of reasoning for diagnosing certain mental illnesses he turned into a completely different person. Rude and talked down to me. It was as if he turned from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. He was incredibly dismissive of my symptoms and everytime I tried to bring up the idea that I may suffer from depression he acted very high and mighty and all knowing staring it was very clear that I did not have it. My last visit was the worst of them all and I left the building sobbing after he became incredibly cross with me after denying me short term disability that my work was offering since I had been to the hospital after experiencing the some of the worst suicidal thoughts and ideation in my life. I very honestly thought about going back to the hospital that day after experiencing a huge wave of depression because way he treated me that day. I consulted with a few other psychiatrists after leaving his office they all agreed I was suffering from depression as I had previously guessed. I would never in a day recommend going to him, he will not listen to your worries and act as if he knows you more than you. Definitely find someone who has more compassion and empathy for you as a person and as a client. Becsuse you will not get that with him"

"If I could give him a lower rating than 1 star I would. Like other peoples experience, this doctor is unprofessional, doesn’t listen to patients needs, and changed my husbands meds all at once. He has high blood pressure and heart rate and prescribed him Aderall. He took him OFF his anxiety meds during the course of his treatment with the “Doctor”. SO he has a high heart rate and BP during a pandemic, and who is also suffering from losing a loved one, but yes, please take him off the anxiety meds! He will -not- respond to email and leaves you hanging when it matters the most. The nurse literally had to print off an email and bring it into him. Even then he still did not respond (This was over a week, no vacation, no holiday, he just chose not to respond). He is honestly the most unprofessional “Doctor” we have ever met. He seems to only care about money and not the patients. I encourage prospective patients to do their research but like others, we cannot recommend."

"Dr. Burke is just another mental health professional who does not want to listen. Within 1 minute of my telling him about the chronic illness I live with every day and have for 10 years he told me it wasn't real. I mentioned disagreeing with Freud and he pointed to a bust of the man and smiled like he was in love. He 'diagnosed' me very quickly and prescribed me meds psych meds. That was why I was there. He also prescribed me sleeping meds that I told him I didn't want because I sleep walk and wasn't comfortable. Neither he nor his nurses would respond to my calls after my first appointment. I had some serious side effects and ended up calling my GP. This was all before Covid-19. I am always polite at the doctor and always give them chances as I know all doctors are busy. Find a different person."
