"Went for a late sick visit because urgent care was closed. We were there almost 4 hours and waiting for discharge papers for over an hour. Doc tried acting like we weren’t sick. Didn’t proscribe any medication for our symptoms and tried saying my daughter might just be tired even though she’s had an on and off fever for 4 days and symptoms keep getting worse. She saw no reason to run a test for pneumonia even though she is showing symptoms and I told the doc she has been exposed to it twice. Horrible er and they don’t know how to treat children."

"I feel the need to post this. I had a pretty bad experience here too. I was at The Dearborn County Hospital with my hand over my head because the pain was so bad and then I arrived at Mercy Harrison Hospital around 3:00 A.M. experiencing the same sensations and they had asked me what works best for me and I gave them an honest answer. They didn't like my answer. On top of that they told me I was in a judgment free zone. Well, I felt judged. Plus one of the doctors looked at my "Trumpster" bracelet and I immediately felt a feeling of dread come over me. I thought I was going to be "pistol-whipped." Long story short I wouldn't waste my time here."

"This review is for the Mercy ER in Harrison Ohio on New Haven Rd. We have unfortunately been twice in the last 6 weeks or so. Took me awhile to decide to write this. As I do appreciate and respect our nurses very much. Especially in these times. My husband has CHF, and I’m always there too be sure that they are aware and that he is treated correctly. The first time we went, the nurse did not have a mask on. We both did, we are both high risk. I politely asked her if she would mind putting a mask on. She quickly became very defensive in saying “Why!? I’m not sick! We don’t have to wear masks anymore, that time is over - etc etc etc” I just stated we were both high risk and I understood she was not sick, but she had been around others who may have been, being an ER. She eventually stated very rudely that she would do it, and it was so uncomfortable that I even said never mind and she said “Oh no, I’m going to wear it!” Later came to find out, their was a Covid patient there, being ready to be transported to the hospital. The next visit, different nurse with same attitude. Except maybe worse, as she continued the attitude the entire time we were there. She especially hated me, but please do not try to give my husband Naproxen (thinking this name would throw me, but I know it’s Aleve) when he has CHF and takes blood thinners. Again, why I go. You can not give someone on blood thinners any sort of NSAIDS. She was just very rude. The doctors are OK but you only see them for a minute; the rest of time is spent with the nurses who are very rude. Sad."

"Came in with a possible seizures, the nurse or doctor didn’t run tests or anything. just came in and talked about “anxiety” no blood drawn, no tests ran, didn’t care to assess why or what the seizures were. left in my the room for hours and all was said “we will order you some meds” without even knowing what was wrong with me!!! gave me ativan, a benzo!! without any questions or test??? what if i were to be someone on some already? i could’ve overdosed and they wouldn’t of cared!.sent me home and i still have no clue what’s wrong with me. the doctors and nurses seemed like they didn’t want to be there or treat me.sent me home with a packet about anxiety which had nothing to do with my visit. 0 stars if i could!"

"Awful experience. 2 year old lethargic, 3rd day of constant vomitting, threw up 5 times during visit. Didn't want to give her fluids due to "third spacing" which is an old medical term that does not apply at all to a 2 year old who is dehydrated. Finally got them to give her fluids. Sent us home with steroids and nausea medicine and no other info. DID NOT CARE ABOUT US!"
