"Had signed my fiancee up for classes via Veterans and he loved the experience but they recently shut the program down for vets and seem to not want anything to do with veterans. Shame that they chose to shy away from that program, it was changing lives and bringing peace to them. Hopefully they decide to change their minds. Clean facility though, horses are well kept. Have to be watching closely for the driveway or you'll pass it right up."

"This place is completely hostile to veterans after a recent management change. They have stopped all WORTH programs for veterans! They were actually trying to make money on veterans and they found out that the VA doesn’t pay for this type of service. Strange that a nonprofit wants to make money on veterans. Many people have donated hours upon hours of time to grow program related activities all to help veterans. Funds that were received for the purposes of supporting or growing veteran programs should be returned to the people who so graciously donated them to do anything less would be misleading to say the least. If you question validity this review question them or better yet talk to a veteran who used to be at this facility. I would love to have of these people walk a day in any veterans shoes!! Maybe then they will give veterans the respect they deserve!"

"Updated: As a veteran I no longer feel welcome at CTRH. Previous review: The new management have started to bring the place down. It used to be such a lovely place and great for Veterans. Not so much anymore. As far as the Veteran side of it I wouldn't recommend it if they even keep it going. It isn't because of the teachers or the volunteers it is the powers at the top. It is a complex problem I am sure but from what I see it's disappointing."

"I'll admit that my review is biased because I now work at CTRH, so make of it what you will. I love this place. Not only is it relaxing and peaceful just pulling into the drive, but the work they do is something I feel passionately about. Working with those with disabilities and our country's veterans is a cause that anyone can get behind. Add horses and mustangs into the mix and it's a "home away from home" for me. I love volunteering in our program classes, working in the barn, and helping in the office. The facility, staff, and horses are all awesome!"
