"By far the best counseling/psych experience I’ve had! The front desk ladies are so sweet. The lobby and office environment is so comfy and calming. I absolutely love it here!"

"Being someone who works in the field, I understand the complications involved in working with mental health. I reached out for services for my daughter, made sure they accepted our insurance, which they said they did then was charged full cost AFTER the appointment because whoops, insurance did not have a contract with this particular provider. Not only did they charge me full price but they sent me no notification of the 100+ charge until I called to say, why do I have the full charge?! They said oh you can file a claim with insurance to be reimbursed...neat. I moved on from that experience because my daughter really needed a safe space to talk with someone so I contacted the office again and switched to a provider who FOR SURE was contracted with our insurance. She had her first appointment, went great. Second appointment was scheduled for 2:00, I had 3:00 in my calendar...totally my fault! I left work to go pick up my daughter for what I thought was her 3:00 appointment, had a missed call and voicemail that said are you on your way?? I called back at 2:30pm and left a voicemail to say I had mixed the times and we were just on our way, I apologized and asked for a call back to reschedule. This morning I had a charge for 150 from my bank account!! No notification of this money being removed, no receipt, nothing! Called the office to hear that a no show is charged automatically! I've never no showed to previous appointments and I called within our scheduled time with no response back!! To have 150 taken from your bank with no warning is terrible to do to people, especially when they do everything to try to make it right, right away. I understand the flip side to this is that the provider then lost out on a chance to fill the spot with someone else and therefor lost money too, however...accidents happen, people are late or confuse times in appointment based businesses and that's the risk you take in being in that business! People certainly are not charged a whole utility bill when these things happen on the first time. I hope the provider enjoys that extra money, Merry Christmas."

"I have been fortunate to find Dr. Alberding! She actually listens to what you are saying and makes decisions about your care WITH you and not telling you what you need to do. Very kind and compassionate experience every time. 10/10 would recommend!"

"I had my first psychiatrist appointment with Chelsea this week and she is wonderful. Very knowledgable, easy to talk to, and so caring. I didn’t have good luck at another mental health facility so it was so refreshing to walk into The Mental Health Collaborative and feel cared for and be set up for success. Thank you!"
