"This is a negative no number can be applied to the pain these women have caused me star rating, but Google Reviews will not allow anything below a 1. Dr. Diana Theiss and Emiley Shenk falsified medical records that led to me losing temporary custody of my children. I have not been permitted to be a mother for 7 months due in part to the deeply unethical decisions that Dr. Diana Theiss and Emiley Shenk made. The last time I was permitted to be a mother to my 8-year-old daughter was September 23, 2023. The last time I was permitted to be a mother to my 14- and 12-year-old boys was July 9, 2023. I reported to Emiley Shenk, an intern, on November 12, 2022, two serious abusive incidents. Emiley Shenk was supportive and helpful at this session. She suggested that I go to the police. We made an appointment for the following week. Within two sessions of me reporting these incidents, Emiley Shenk’s behavior towards me and treatment of me completely changed. I could tell at the very beginning of our session on November 30, 2022, Emiley Shenk did not want to speak to me, she did not want to counsel me. At the end of our session, Emiley Shenk stated that she could no longer see me because she DID NOT BELIEVE the serious abusive incidents that I reported to her. Emily Shenk made the determination that I was delusional instead of being a victim because I did not report the abuse that occurred. I did not report the abuse that occurred because I lived in Sylvania Township Police precinct which is corrupt. I am still traumatized and shocked by Emiley Shenk’s behavior, decisions, and treatment of me as are my children. Dr. Diana Theiss allowed a third party to contribute to my medical records. The information that the third party supplied was vagrantly false and contributed to me losing custody of my children. What Dr. Diana Theiss has done to me is deeply unethical and damaging to my life. As trained clinicians, Emiley Shenk and Dr. Diana Theiss should be aware of these statistics and how difficult it is for an abused person to get the help and assistance they need. Along with the support that is needed to leave an abusive relationship. Dr. Diana Theiss and Emiley Shenk did not behave in an ethical or compliant manner by assisting in the systematic abuse of a mother and wife. Therapists and counselors are supposed to be safe havens for abused people. Sylvania Therapy and Counseling is not a haven. I requested a complete investigation be completed by the Ohio Counselor Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board. See my Facebook posts for more information."

"Clean, friendly, easy appointments however I didnt like the lack of verbal communication with my therapist. I was under one assumption that radically changed next appointment. Halfway through the next appointment she reviewd her notes and stated my scores were much better than she thought..but to avoid looking as though she had faulted, she rolled with plan and actually told me i needed to suddenly cone more often and bring a food diary after i had met surgery weight loss requirements. Good for therapy as she is kind but not recommend for weightloss surgery evaluation."

"I saw Dr. Calmes. She is more of a chemical and addiction specialist. She says she electronically documents but she always looking at her computer while client is talking. If you have addictions or addiction behaviors, I think she is a great fit for someone with those issues."
