Terry Point Motel

"Stayed for a little over a month before going on the road to work. Nice out of the way location and very quiet and peaceful. Good weekly price rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend to anyone."

"Stayed here a couple of times for a week for business travel. They are clean, and the neighbors are friendly, but it gets really quiet at night. The staff is fantastic. Both rooms were not quite the identical setup if you into the Motel 6 thing, but they were fine for me. Fast internet and lots of tv channels. Nothing comes close for the price, and it was good to keep my things in a weekly rental when traveling to not have to carry a bunch of luggage and things around. Took me about 35 minutes to get to work in CLE, and Akron is close too."

"Will definitely return. Cannot beat the cost!!! The room was a little small, but everything worked properly and all the neighbors were all very friendly. It's in an excellent location for hiking the "little loop of the Buckeye trail" (which I am doing)."

"I believe that this is owned by the same people as the Ohio Motel a little further south from this location. The room was cozy, and the owners were very willing to help when I had issues with the hot water or air conditioning. The shower was a bit small and I kind of wish that the door had a dead bolt, but aside from that I think that it was a pleasant stay. The bus route near that location is being removed (or at least so I was told), which is unfortunate, as without it there is not too much else within walking distance around that location."

"The owners are low lives who will steal your deposit for no reason, and lie about why. Also they sent annoying (bordering on harassing, maybe?) messages asking why I was leaving when I told them I wasn't gonna rent another week. There is a gap under the door that lets in cold air and bugs. They advertise that they have wifi but never disclosed how it flat out never works. Which is kinda a pain when your job involves telecommuting. Had to root my phone and tether my data to my laptop which goes against my phone plan's TOS, so I risked losing my contract. There are plenty of places that are cheaper and that are probably at most as pathetic as this place. I would give zero stars if I could. P.S. I received an email from a company with a different name than The Ohio Motel or Terry Point asking for payment for next week. The email was cryptic, and said I owed money for next week's stay. At first I thought it might be the place I was staying at after this place, but then I read the fine print and it had the name "The Ohio Motel" at the bottom. What is the game being played here?"
