"This AMC location has been around since the late 90s. I suppose corporate will cite age as an excuse for its condition even though Showcase has been in its current Tricounty location since before dinosaurs roamed the earth, and it isn't in the same sorry shape AMC 8 is. Calling the theater "Classic" is just corporate's way of trying to rebrand "Cheap" and "Dilapidated". Terrible sound. The theater has surround sound. I have heard it before, many years ago, in this very theater, but for some reason they don't turn it on now. Not even for a musical. The seats are very uncomfortable. It's impossible to sit still for two hours, because your butt will keep reminding you that you're sitting on hard steel with barely one of grandma's ancient throw pillows to cush your tush. Plus the seats don't even fold back. Some of the theaters smell like mold. They vacuum about as well as teenagers can be expected to vacuum, but I guess cleaning the carpets once a month or so isn't in the budget. The concessions taste and feel stale. I tried to eat some baked pretzel bites. I'm not sure, but I believe some of them had been replaced with salt covered stones. The soda machines are barely functional. I had to repeatedly press the same button before the soda would finally dispense. The employees were nice though. And mattinee ticket prices were only $5.95. There you go, cheap and dilapidated. I guess I got what I paid for."

"I've been to this cinema quite a few times. The discount tickets are awesome. There has never been a disruption or loud or aggressive people during a movie. They have good food and are always clean when we go."

"Bought tickets online and arrived at the movie 25 minutes before showtime. By the time we were seated the movie had already started, 35 minutes after showtime. A total of an hour of waiting in line to get our tickets scanned. We reserved pretty good seats online and when we went to our theater there were people sitting in our seats. We asked them to move and they refused. Asked for help and none of the employees did anything so we had to sit in the very front row. At this point the movie had already began and people screamed the whole movie. Audio quality at this specific theater is not great, so with that and the yelling during the movie you couldn’t understand anything. Not entirely the movie theater’s fault but having to wait an hour just to get in and our movie had already started by the time we could sit down was ridiculous."

"A Disappointing Experience at the Taylor Swift Concert Movie I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the experience I had at the Taylor Swift concert movie held at your Hamilton, OH theater. I purchased tickets for this event a month in advance, and what was supposed to be a special evening turned into a series of frustrating and unacceptable situations. Firstly, upon arrival at the theater, I was forced to endure a half-hour wait in a line to get inside because the theater lacked mobile scanning abilities, and I had to get my ticket physically printed. This was despite the fact that hundreds of people had also purchased tickets. With only four registers open, the process was excruciatingly slow, leaving many of us anxious and frustrated. To make matters worse, once inside, I was greeted with the revelation that the only remaining seats were folding chairs. It became evident that the theater had oversold the event, and the seating arrangements were far from what was expected for a special event like this. In an attempt to salvage our evening, my mom and I left the theater and approached some employees to inquire about attending the 6:30 movie instead. They initially claimed it was sold out, which we later discovered was a dishonest response. After calling them out on their misleading information, they reluctantly allowed us inside, but only with the promise of just two empty seats, as if they were doing us a favor. Throughout the entire movie, the theater never even reached a quarter of its capacity, making their actions seem even more unwarranted. I cannot stress how disappointed I am with the way we were treated during this event. Despite the movie itself being amazing, the overall experience was marred by these issues. I paid over $40 for the tickets and had to endure a lengthy drive from Kentucky in traffic to reach the theater. This was meant to be a special gift for my mother and me, and it turned into a memorable disappointment for all the wrong reasons. I urge AMC to take these concerns seriously and ensure that such mishaps do not occur in the future. Customers should be able to enjoy their purchased entertainment without unnecessary delays, overcrowded theaters, and misleading information from staff. I sincerely hope for a resolution to this matter and a commitment to improving the customer experience at the Hamilton, OH theater."

"Watched Oppenheimer there. At certain times there is a 30% discount on the ticket price with which the total price was 6 dollar for me. So cheap yet the theater was well maintained. Price wise the theater offers accordingly. The sound system was good. They don't check tickets though."
