"One of the worst stay experiences I ever had in my life. They don't send housekeeping even after you request a day before. When I check with the guy in front desk next day he just casually says housekeeping left for the day without even apologizing. And the worst part is they charged me for finding a cigarette in another room where I did not even Stay. I am not coming back to this property ever. Better spend some more money and stay in Springfield which is 20 mins away from urbana."
"Positives: the two main beds in our suite were quite comfortable. The people who helped us when we arrived were not rude by any means but did not seem thrilled to be there. The people who were in charge of the breakfast were awesome, constantly refilling things that were empty and cleaning up behind the messy kids. Negatives: our room had a couch that turned into a pull out bed that was disgusting. You could tell they do not check those beds as there were crumbs in between the cushions and large stains on the mattress. In the bathroom there were hairs on the shower wall when we arrived and water stains all over the door and mirror. The walls and floors must be paper thin as well because i swear there were elephants running up and down the hallway above us ALL NIGHT. The pool is also pretty gross - the water is foggy and the bottom of the pool is brownish gray and slick. There were two young boys in the pool area whose parents were no where to be found and were running around the pool. This isn’t the hotels fault but it just added to the unhappiness i left this place with."
"My new favorite motel in Ohio! I got a huge room with separate bedroom, dish washer, 2 TV's, and lots of help from the staff. This is an old -fashioned motel. They are not trying to bleed every dime out of it. They try to attract clients by lots of extra perks. And the free breakfast was really good. I hope the place stays in Urbana for many years."
"Newer hotel with very clean rooms. A small bar on the main floor provides. a nice selection of beer and several mixed drinks. The continental breakfast is not great, but the waffles are a hit. Compared to large chains the price was better and I got a much nicer room."
"This is a newer hotel. Its still pretty clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is decent. Last time I was there the hot water needed to be turned on for about 15 minutes before you got any hot water. It’s a hotel. It served its purpose."
