"Paul J. was a wonderful person to deal with; Unfortunately, Paul passed away in 2020 and the person I was left to do business with was Chris S.; Chris S. is very deceitful when he is "taking care of your insurance needs". If you do not ask a lot of questions, he will most definitely leave you in the dark when it comes to adding any kind of coverage for a commercial liability policy. Make sure to correspond through e-mail and or text with this guy because he will try the old "remember: when we spoke over the phone and you said this and I said this?" I was fortunate enough to have a poor experience with Chris S. shortly after the owner passed away that was during a time when their phones were down at Akron Insurance on S. Cleve-Mass Rd. I was lucky enough to have everything in writing that we spoke about because months later Chris S. tried that "remember our phone conversation, bit" I was able to reply that we didn't have a phone conversation it's all in e-mails. If you are going to do business over the phone with this company tape record your conversation because you might need it. Without a tape-recorded conversation or anything in writing, nothing will hold up in court....it becomes your word against theirs. Judges/Mediators do not want to deal with hearsay. Buyer/Consumers beware and vigilant if you end up dealing with this company. Again, its Akron Insurance S. Cleve-Mass."
