"What a delightful surprise! Traveling with a pet can be a challenge but I would highly recommend this hotel for those traveling through the area.This place was immaculate, the staff was helpful, the bed was super comfortable and there was no pet fee. Breakfast was simple but the price for our stay was great!"

"The first floor room we got was fine and seemed clean. However the problem we had and the reason for the one star rating is, we were traveling late and arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm. I had already made the reservation online earlier in the day. I saw my card was charged at 8 pm, that's fine. When we got there to check in, we'd been driving all day and were tired. Our paperwork and keys were ready. When we asked about a late check out, expecting as is customary to be allowed an extra hour to check out at 12:00 noon, we were rudely refused. The gentleman at the front desk overnight said brusquely that the owner doesn't allow it, period. Said he's been burned too many times. A tiny bit of understanding would have been good, since we arrived late into the night, and were not the type to trash a room or stay late past checkout anyway. It left a bad taste in our mouths. As for other details, our room door didn't close tightly and rattled in the frame (but it was lockable), and the bathroom door in our room didn't latch securely. Parking is tight. I can't speak about breakfast since we didn't eat. The coffeemaker in the room was dirty, and coffee in the lobby wasn't good tasting, it was weak, and there was no half and half available, only powdered creamer. Housekeeping staff was rather loud in cleaning rooms and hallways in the morning, disturbing the quiet. All in all, it was a place to sleep and shower, but we will not be back or recommend this location to others. Very disappointing since we are Red Roof rewards members and stay at RRs frequently."

"As a truck driver, I tend to stay in hotels on the regular. Red Roof across the country has normally been truck friendly and priced right for a weekend. That said, this was the worst experience I've had yet. Upon check-in, both of the queen beds had stains in them, with one of them looking like they had blood stains on the sheets. Upon asking to have the sheets changed, I was told I had to do it myself, and was given a set to replace them. During our two night stay, as my family was with me, we ended up having a major ant infestation issue...on the 3rd floor. Again, we were told we had to handle the issue ourselves, and were given a can of Raid. After checking out, I received an additional $50 charge. Upon calling to find out why, I was told they couldn't find the bed sheets I had to replace, that we were told to place in the laundry chute, and thus were charging me for them. After strongly explaining myself, I was told they would reverse the charge, but as of writing this, that hasn't happened yet. Besides my horrible experience, the hotel is a clean-ish, but deteriorating condition. Front desk staff were nice to my face, but over the phone, had a "not my problem" attitude. All around, this was a horrible experience. ----- Update: Took over a week, but I finally got the charge refunded."

"Wow!! We stay at Red Roofs fairly often since they are one of few affordable pet-friendly hotels. We are used to having very low standards with them, but this one was fantastic! Everything was renovated and new! The rooms are located inside, instead of directly accessible from outside, like most locations. Our room actually smelled like cleaning products instead of the usual mixture of old cigarette smoke and urine. AND free breakfast! It was more comparable with a Hampton Inn than most Red Roofs. Oh yeah, we'll be returning here for sure."
