"I've been with Reichley Insurance for my home, auto, and umbrella policies since about 2007 or so, and also for health insurance for a few years following an unexpected loss of coverage. This past Thanksgiving morning, with a house full of guests, I experienced a catastrophic failure of the plumbing (shower) in my newly-purchased home. I was hesitant to call the after-hours emergency phone number, thinking I was going to be connected to a call center. But, afraid to wait all weekend before starting water damage mitigation, I finally called anyway. Much to my surprise, Perk himself answered! He patiently answered my questions, soothed my fears, and referred me to a trustworthy contractor who came out the next day to assess the damage and begin mitigation. If I had called the insurance company directly, they would have just opened a claim immediately, and it would have ended up costing me a lot more, as well as then having a claim on my record.
