"Don’t sign up for Paramount Elite Medicare plans. I became a member effective March 1, 2023. Paramount uses a company called Nations Benefits (NB) for Over-the-Counter items, hearing aids, fitness trackers, and other products/services. I had to make many calls to Paramount and NB in order to get signed up for OTC items before the first quarter ended on March 31, 2023. I missed the first quarter because I wasn’t able to order OTC items until April 20. I have been accidentally terminated three times in NB computer systems during the year. I had to make numerous calls to get reinstated. My last issue was getting reimbursed for a fitness tracker that I purchased on October 22, and filed for reimbursement on October 23. NB denied my reimbursement. I made many calls into Paramount. NB claimed a check was mailed on November 15, and then on December 1. I finally received the check on December 16. Paramount and NB customer service is awful. You have to make many calls between the two of them. They point fingers at each other. It's hard to get both companies to return calls. I spent months getting my issues resolved this year. None were my fault. Paramount’s dashboard computer system is always extremely slow to review EOBs. Paramount’s Medicare websites menus and information locations are always changing, and contain errors. All Paramount's responses to their reviews are: "Please reach out to our Member Services at the phone number (xxx)xxx-xxxx when you can so we can address this situation directly.". If Paramount provided good member services, they would reach out to the member. Paramount...don't bother responding. I don't want to struggle getting a hold of one of your service agents anymore. It has been 10 months of frustration and torture with Paramount and NationsBenefits. I am so happy now, I chose another Medicare Advantage health provider in 2024. Adios Paramount Healthcare!"
"Tried to use my last quarter benefit by ordering out of the catalog online. Said my benefit ended Dec 7. No, it is suppose to end 12/31. Called them and yes they said blah blah. Seriously, honor what you preach!!!"
"Would rather reimburse me almost 800 dollars than put it toward coverage. Received a termination letter months after having been terminated. Found out about the termination from my doctor's office. Likely due to lack of competition, this is not a company that cares about it's customers. Constant rate hikes, trigger finger cancelation, and I'm sure someone somewhere is fat, happy, and rich off the struggling of the rest of us."
"My husband is a member until the last day of april 2023. If you enjoy poor customer service this is the insurance company for you. Don’t ask for help signing into their site or their automatic payment withdrawal center called softtheon. You wont get it. We have no family tech support and could not get in. If you need something mailed because you cant get into their site on line, forget it. We had to call for a list of doctors in network, They didnt send it. We called again for a list and got a single sheet of paper with 5 doctors names on it. If you try to call a supervisor like we did 5 times forget about it we never got one call from one supervisor the approximate 2 years he was there. My husband and I were told to call a customer service rep on the phone who said she would help us and of course we left a voice mail message for her and she never returned our call. For the money you pay for medical insurance they should be able to provide helpful customer service. And especially not be hung up on. My husband is dropping this insurance at the end of this week for we hope another insurance co. with people skills and empathy for its customers that need help."
"I've had Paramount for a few years now and their website has been "under maintenance" the entire time. Hard to navigate, loads at dial up speed. Not sure how their web developers are still employed. Website couldn't be any worse. Been trying to log into my benefits page for a day now and it won't load. TRASHHHHHHHHHH"
