"My daughter is currently court order to be there. Please I repeat Please don't let your child go there!!!! The staff is so inappropriate with the children. Staff talk to your child like they are on the streets. The staff sets your child up to be jumped by other inmates/children living at there. I just feel that If you're not able to connect talk with an unruly child, or mentally ill children you should not be working there."

"I must admit my review is way out of date. I use to be a patient/resident here when I was a teenager. Back 20 years ago. I can't say I know the place now but back then then really did help me through my issues not through just therapy but physical activity. I was here in the summer so there was plenty to do. I was actually here when my nana pass and I don't think I would have made it through with out them."

"DON'T TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM ABUSED AND THAT ABUSE COVERED UP BY THOSE THAT RUN IT!! My son's Dr of 7+ yrs was let go because she reported abuse to the CEO!! Abuse at their facility!! They should be ashamed of themselves for not protecting their patients!! Protect your kids, because the powers that be at this place WILL NOT!!"

"I was the first girl to live in the locked unit back in 1991or1992 it's been a long time ago. I lived on the locked unit for 1yr. Then moved to the open unit & lived there for one year. My teachers were Mr. Gast ,Ms.Debbie Mercer, & one Mr. Bob Fannin ! I have to say that Oesterlen was an amazing place . I am grown now ,but I was 13 when I arrived & about to turn 16 when I left. I can say that was the best place for me & one of the safest ,caring, & helpful places I had ever been. I had been moved around a lot from foster homes from Clermont co, to Cincinnati, Dayton,& Jamestown, Millcreek, St. Joseph's Orphanage, Clermont,co Juvenile detention center, 20/20 detention center of Cincinnati. Oesterlen was the BEST of them all. I miss that place."
