"I was being seen for grief and depression after I lost half my family. Nothing about addiction or anything like that. My father passed soon after from a complication of a medication he was on. When I asked to be taken off a medication with the same chance of complication on a zoom call with Anthony, which my husband was on with me, I was screamed at that "They know best. And I will never find better care." I said if they scream at me one more time, I'm hanging up. They did. I hung up. They then lied about a diagnosis and said I had borderline personality disorder since I was a kid (my first psych visit was when I was 25 and my grandma had died. They said I could not be truest, and I was lying about my Crohn's disease. They then put this on my disability paperwork for my leave from my work, and I was denied because they believed him. Previous to this visit, my diagnoses were major depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorder. That's it. These people are the worst kind."
