"Dismissive, unprofessional and overall just not what a woman needs w gyno care. If u can't understand the anxiety an appointment creates in someone. u probably shouldn't be doing it."

"I had my son via emergency c-section on March 18th, 2020 by Gerald Curd. I didn’t consent to them taking my son out of me because I was in a 2.5 hour-long seizure. I was treated horribly by the staff at Mercy and I saw Gerald for literally a second before he said he was putting me under anesthesia that I also couldn’t consent to, to cut me open. I went in for my follow-up appointment, and he wasn’t concerned about my mental health in the least, KNOWING that I had an EXTREMELY traumatic experience and that my numbers on my mental health chart were through the roof. Myself and my son almost died. And he said “eh, everything looks normal.” He was only concerned with covering his own tracks and asking me over and over again if I “remembered why they had to take him out”. My answer was, “I guess, I don’t really remember anything because I was mid-seizure and I felt like no one cared at all?” I also went in a week before my seizure and told him that I was severely sick (looking back, I think I had Covid) which he just suggested that I “take some Tylenol and try to get some rest”. I could seriously write a book about how horrible he was and is and I only saw him 2TIMES during my pregnancy. I would NEVER recommend anyone I know to go here. They absolutely DO NOT care about the mother’s mental health or physical wellness from my personal experience. It’s taken me almost 3 years to even write this review and honestly, I’m just glad that myself and my son made it through the mental and physical turmoil that I and he experienced. If I could give less than 1 star, I would."

"Came in for a blood test to test if I was pregnant.. they gave me a pee test which were in water cups. Then the doctor comes in almost demanding a Pap smear I had to turn it down and say no 4 times. NEVER told me if I was pregnant or not had to ask for my blood test which I originally scheduled the appointment for. Then confusingly asked the lady who does blood if the pee test was for pregnancy and she said yes it’s positive . Would’ve been nice for the doctor to tell me. Then get a text from my pharmacy while walking out of the office saying I had a prescription ready; called and found out it was prenatal vitamins from them. Again , would have been nice if I was informed by the doctor. The place was dirty and the receptionist and over all whole staff was very unprofessional"

"Dr. Curd and his PA are ABSOLUTELY wonderful! Explains things well and you can tell he sees you as a patient not a number. Staff was professional and very accommodating. Office is updated and clean. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a provider that cares about you and your overall health! I have read a few negative reviews on here and was blown away. I work in the healthcare field as well and was having issues that lead me to a hysterectomy. I changed providers after not getting answers about my issue for two years. Dr. Curd listened to every word I said, scheduled the needed tests and remedied my issues completely within two months. I have sent several frustrated friends to him who all LOVE their office as well. You will NOT find a better provider out there!"

"I will be honest, I absolutely did not like Dr. Curd after our first appointment. I felt he was judgemental about my decisions during pregnancy and after reading his other bad reviews I thought for sure he'd make me get a C-section to deliver my twins. Although we did butt heads that first day, my twin pregnancy ended in the operating room (just in case ) on Dr. Curds sons birthday. He allowed me to deliver them naturally and for that I can not thank him enough! I would reccomend Dr. Curd! Thank you for everything!"
