"If I could give negative stars I would. Went to Summa urgent care 2 weeks ago. Ended up needing an air cast size medium walking boot. The urgent care provided one by Yanke Bionics in Akron. Bill today was 310.20 just the boot. My whole urgent care visit including X-rays was less than the boot charge! Looked up the tag for the company that supplies the boot -they are about $73 for the SAME BOOT. Another website exact same boot was $89 ish . How on gods green earth is this company sending an invoice for over 300.00 for the IDENTICAL PRODUCT! I have already made several calls/emails one being the urgent care about how over inflated clients are being charged."

"They said the would order me leg braces for both legs had to pay first.when I returned only had one for left leg 2 weeks and still waiting for the right leg brace I think this is normal because the same thing happened to my wife"

"Absolute scam. First off, they took impressions of my feet which the doctor literally spent 3 minutes in the room with me. They charge $400 for custom insoles that take 3 weeks to make. Then, they recommend I buy these $150 shoes from New Balance, so I did. They scheduled me to come in to pick them up at 6am…they’re not even open that early…Finally, I pick up these insoles and I swear my feet have NEVER been more uncomfortable. The combination of the shoes and the insoles has caused blisters all over my feet. Not to mention these special insoles are hard as a rock. It feels like all my weight is directly in the middle of my foot. I’m so mad. This place has made me spend hundreds of dollars for nothing. Save your money. Your doctor will make it sound like this place is the answer you’ve been looking for. But, it’s just a scam."

"Terrible experience at Yanke Bionics, Akron. Went there for orthotics, for ball of the foot pain. The provider never spent more than 5-7 minutes with me, the 3 times I was there. Never explained what he was doing. He rushed in, rushed out, leaving an aide with me, He took the molds of my feet which, I later found out, were done incorrectly. You're supposed to remain seated to do them, but at the end, he had me stand up in the mold, which caused a misimpression of the arch. The next couple of times, with corrections made, got even worse. I now had pain in the ball and the  heel. I transferred to the Parma office who tried, in vain, to correct the issues but then agreed to take new impressions, correctly. Unfortunately, he produced what I refer to as a "budget"orthotic, no facsimile of the $450 orthotic I had paid for. The arch was so high that I had a rolling effect, which came down on the ball of foot and heel. He was doing a lot of talking, but not listening to me. I decided to cut my losses and move on. I consider Yanke Bionics to be an understaffed, overbooked company, which is reflected in their end product."

"Great service, very helpful and friendly staff, but this place is full highway robbery. They charge $569.80 for a ottobock option-1-ap back brace. The same brand/model is available for $87.67. This should be criminal. Google what they are selling you before you check out!!!"
