"Visited this location at 395 E Market St. to see Dr D'Anza at Akron ENT Associates. Verified this location and Akron ENT Associates is "in-network". Received a large "out-of-network bill" from University Hospitals on behalf of Dr D'Anza. Requested insurance company to review and bill as "in-network", and was denied. Requested Dr D'Anza's office to adjust billing to issue from "Akron ENT Associates" to be covered as "in-network", and have not received any correspondence. Will consider further action if not resolved."

"Had an ear drum rupture and was able to get into Akron ENT in under a day. Dr. Mooney was helpful and efficient and seemed knowledgeable and empathetic. I was in the building for less than 45 minutes. I realize this sort of thing is routine for them, and I really appreciate the efficiency. I know who I’ll be calling with future ENT related issues!"

"Was harrassed (about 5 times in one week)by the secretary and dr gerka about appointments after I told them I would make them later because I was dealing with other issues and having 2 surgeries this month. I called cancelled an appointment I did not make or confirm and fired the dr only to get a call 2 weeks later by them. They don't care about what you tell them."

"I would not recommend this office to anyone. I would give 0 stars if I could. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had confirmation of an appointment on Thursday. The receptionist said it was Friday and it must have been a “computer glitch”. We drove an hour for the appointment and had the confirmation on the phone saying the appointment was Thursday morning which we showed her. She just shrugged her shoulders and did not even apologize. When we asked if someone else could squeeze us in we were met with an instant no, not even checking with the doctor to see if he could squeeze us in. The way the receptionist treated us was unacceptable. I hope no one needs to ever go here. Avoid at all costs! We only came because they had the soonest appointment available. Obviously we would be better off waiting a month for an ENT appointment with an office who respects patients , appointments, and prioritizes their care!"

"Office sees both my daughters and myself. Never had a complaint with staff, wait times or Dr. Bruderly. He is great with kids. Oldest daughter has had 6 ear surgeries. Youngest just had her first. Truly makes them feel comfortable around equipment and procedures. Takes the time to explain everything to me in non-doctor speak."
