"The NP I saw was extremely nice but didn't seem too thorough though, considering it was my first ever appointment at that office. I am used to being asked umpteen questions at every visit (per my previous GYNO and every other doctor I've seen since childhood), which I'm always happy to answer because it shows some form of caring and genuine concern. The assistant that took my vitals was nice, but couldn't pronounce a single prescription on my list (red flag, considering this is a medical office and she's seeing patients), she also stated that she was new to the office, which was fine but what kind of training do you actually have to where you can't pronounce the names of COMMON prescriptions?? The rooms are FAR outdated and DIRTY - I was tracking hair and dirt on my socks from the waiting chair to the exam chair, only 3 feet apart; the sprinkler in the ceiling was CAKED with dust, it's almost like they don't even clean their exam rooms! I'm going to spare the front desk staff on this one because it was "early" (not really), but the lady I spoke to was decent... Needless to say, if you are not in desperation for "affordable" medical care go ahead and find another provider, sis. You deserve quality care, especially if you are accustomed to a certain standard, already."

"I had a horrible experience with women’s health center customer service for billing and payment services . I called them wondering about a random $151 balance in my account (while I have a full coverage health insurance) and the unethical lady didn’t answer my question or help me at all! She got more angry and unprofessional and she told me that I have to pay all this balance! I was so calm talking to her and asking her my concerns because it wasn’t the first time I had a doctor visit at summa, and this is the first time ever that I’ve seen this balance! She ended up with telling me in a disgusting manner: (you know what?? Call your insurance company or send a letter telling the hospital that you’re not paying). I’ve been calling a ton of customer services in my life, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard person talking to the patients like this way! While I called the women’s health center again and there was a really nice lady who didn’t answer my questions but she understood me and asked for help for me at least! Educate these unethical people please!"

"I showed up on time for my appointment and waited 45 minutes to be seen while people who came after me came and went. Then the ultrasound tech was extremely rude. She seemed irritated that my doctor sent me in. She made a comment about me maybe needing to see a doctor for possible eczema without even looking at me. I don’t even have rashes or dry skin and she is not a doctor. She was very condescending. I left there feeling terrible."

"All of the residents I’ve seen here have been very compassionate and friendly. The rest of the office staff that I’ve dealt with have been pleasant as well. So far, I’ve been happy with the care that I’ve received throughout my pregnancy. However, I’m only giving three stars because this office, for whatever reason, refuses to offer parking validation. The parking situation is a nightmare to begin with as over half of the parking deck is taken up by employees. Then on top of that you can never gauge how much parking is going to cost, because you don’t know how long you’re going to be in the office for. There are already so many barriers for low income people to be able to access healthcare, without having to pay for parking every single visit on top of it. There isn’t even any discount or program offered for Medicaid patients. I seriously debated switching OB offices, but decided to bite the bullet as this office is close to my house. I’ve spent around $100 on parking so far, and I’m still not all of the way through my pregnancy. It truly makes you feel as though you’re just another dollar sign for the hospital to profit off of."

"They need more staff. Just, to talk to them takes forever. I've been on hold for over 40 minutes. Trying to speak with my doctor. I'M already scared, emotional, and overwhelmed.. Waiting , so long to speak with someone is not good care. I'm pregnant, my mother was just in a horrible car accident, and I'm on hold forever to reschedule my appointment. I shouldn't have to wait this long to speak to my health care provider."
