"I was grossly dissatisfied and disappointed. After being diagnosed with a degenerative spinal disease leaving me in constant excruciating pain and was ordered injections as treatment. I then called the office 3 times a day for over 5 months to get these scheduled with no response so I started emailing the physicians and finally got an appointment for the suggested injections just to be turned away because I failed to follow an office policy that was not mentioned in any reminders sent or was not part of the pre-registration instructions I carefully went over. I explained that I was a traveling nurse that had driven over 2hrs in pain to be present for this appointment and would appreciate a chance to still be seen, just to have a staff member deny my request and continue on to say that it was my fault and I should have just known better. The physician could have made an exception for me but didn't. There was a nurse practitioner in the waiting area with tears in her eyes that stopped me as I left to hug me because she felt so bad for what she had just witnessed. The whole experience was absolutely disgusting and I left feeling beaten and helpless."

"I went in with lower back pain. The doctor suggested I have an ablation on my lower spine. I thought one of two things could happen. One, my pain would be eliminated for 6-18 months as I was told or two, there would be no improvement. I never imagined I would now be living with twice the pain. It was the worse decision I’ve made in my life! This doctor talks so fast and he doesn’t look you in the eye when speaking to you. Return phone calls took up to 10 days. I wish I could turn back the clock on this decision."

"My wife went there for pain from an ankle reconstruction surgery that happened 5 weeks ago. They offered to give her steroid injections that my wife is allergic to. So the only other option was a Sprint tens unit. We were told they cannot do anything for 12 weeks after the surgery. Scheduling told us it will take 2-3 months to get scheduled. They do not prescribe pain meds. Not even to get you to the scheduled treatment that will likely not be needed as my wife will be healed by then. This is a terrible place. They didn’t even explain the procedures they wanted to do to her. BE WARNED."

"Please find a different pian management clinic. Dr. Ahmed was hours late for the appt, did not listen to me when I told him I had a terrible reaction to steroid injections and insisted we do one anyway. He did it almost a foot away from where the pain was, so naturally it did absolutely nothing and I suffered the same dangerous side effects - which he claimed it was because I was "scared of needles" , but the side effects started days after and went on for weeks. Recently had my "follow up" appt cancelled after waiting months due to Dr. Ahmed being off that day, and they could only schedule me 3-4 months out, even though it was their mistake."

"This has been one of the most frustrating medical experiences for us. My mother is in a lot of back pain. We were recommended the Spine & Pain Institute for Radio Frequency Ablation. The trial injections were performed by Dr. John Hunter. He is a young doctor and both of his trial injections did not help at all. Dr. Hunter never took proper time to tell us much. He just mentioned something about some kind of stenosis but no official diagnosis was given to us. Not a single doctor told us "this is your diagnosis and these are all the options we have for you". He just softly suggested an epidural injection which we grabbed onto like a saving pole. Unfortunately, we had to deal with insurance who did not want to approve the injection but they were willing to approve it if the doctor's office will provide them with a statement that this injection is beneficial and life-effecting, which it is. The office manager did not want to help us and we had to pull this statement by the teeth out of the bureaucratic minds of the medical staff. Unfortunately our suffer sufferings did not end after the pain institute finally faxed to the insurance company the life-saving document and the insurance company approved the injection. We kept calling to schedule an injection but all of our attempts are fruitless. First, they told us they did not receive insurance approval on their end even though we have an approval document IN OUR HANDS. Second, they would just never return our calls. Two months later, my mother is barely walking going through enormous amount of daily pain."
