"The physicians are phenomenal. The office staff is very difficult. They are rude and unhelpful. They make it very difficult to even schedule an appointment. You can’t schedule one in person. They make you fill out a sheet with your request and promise to call in 24-48 hours to schedule. They do not call. If you try to schedule an appointment by phone, you have to leave a message and the same thing happens. They do not return the call. If you schedule online, that’s the only time you will get a call only for them to tell you the online scheduling feature wasn’t for that type of appointment and you need to change it."

"The doctors at Kids in the Sun are amazing - Dr. Postma especially. He went above and beyond and stayed late contacting multiple specialists for an emergency issue with my child. The front office however is hands down miserable. If they do answer the phone, which they rarely do, they are rude and uniformed. One time, they refused to take a urine sample because it wasn't in their cup. As a result we had to wait all day to get a cup from them while my child screamed in pain. When we mentioned this to the doctor they said that was absolutely absurd and there is no reason the front office should have refused the sample."

"Both of my sons have been going to Kids in the Sun since they were born and I have always been pleased. The practice seems to have changed. I often have to call multiple times before my call is returned. At my son's last wellness visit, we were charged for the wellness visit and an office visit because we asked a question. I thought part of the appointment was to address any questions. I never had to pay extra before. Very disappointed. Update - I have continued to attempt to call the billing office to resolve issues with inaccurate billing for weeks. The number goes to voice mail and a return call is never received. Supposedly research was being done but no one can respond. This was our last visit to Kids in the Sun."

"The nurse practitioner Connie is amazing. The facility in Broadview Hts is clean and modern. We moved from another UH pediatrician and are super pleased with Kids in the Sun. Easy to get same day sick appointment with no wait once you arrive. All of the staff is friendly. Highly recommend."

"We like Dr. Golanka a lot but this location of his practice doesn't seem well run at all. The nurses are extremely cold and unfriendly and the front desk staff seems unprofessional. Worst of all, we have had to wait in the exam room 30+ minutes every time here before being seen! Even when we've made a point to arrive 15 minutes early to our scheduled appointment time as they require! Every doctor runs behind some days but here it's standard practice. Oh and don't expect an apology from anyone. Too bad because we had a totally different experience with Kids in the Sun in Strongsville."
