"Provider seemed to really wanted to help- but I question their motivations after my experience. I repeatedly contacted the provider and expressed concerns about the side effects of a medication I was on. Some of those side effects ended up costing thousands of dollars. When I shared that information, the provider RAISED my dosage, worsening the issues. Some of the physical side effects I'd asked about ahead of time and was told those weren't going to happen with this medication, became permanent. I ultimately ended up having to take myself off of the medication before it killed me. My lab results a DIFFERENT provider ordered once they collected my updated medications list were dangerously out of range. ARC should have been monitoring those labs given the side effect profile of the class of medication I was on. But they didn't. This provider obsessively tried to keep me on a medication that was destroying my life just because my energy levels had improved slightly. I have no major psychiatric illness that would have put me at seriously risk not to treat so aggressively. My conditions are treatment resistant not life threatening. I felt the provider treated me like I was a lab rat responding in a way that supported what they knew about the chemical systems responsible for altering certain behaviors with no consideration to my quality of life, which I repeatedly told them was suffering a major net negative. Almost makes me wonder if monetary pharmaceutical incentives are still in practice... I gave 2 stars because on other occasions I felt like my concerns were heard and the provider attempted to meet me where I was with my treatment. But denying a patient the right to informed consent knocked the rest of the 3 stars off. I feel traumatized and harmed by the treatment I received at ARC."

"Edie is so incredibly personable and kind. She remembers things I’ve told her that I couldn’t even remember I told her about. She’s so genuine and thoughtful, and always makes me laugh and brings a smile to my face during our appointments. I’m confident in the fact that she will help improve the lives of so many people during the course of her career. She’s an absolute gem and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with her!"

"The psychiatrist my partner was assigned to changed the diagnosis he’s had for 15 years without an evaluation and without his knowledge. The psychiatrist intentionally started him on a medication he should not have been on and it began triggering intense manic episodes (I’ve NEVER seen him like this). We didn’t even know about the change in diagnosis until after he was randomly discharged and saw his medical records. After the psychiatrist discharged him without reason, he asked what he was supposed to do about medication and was told he had two refills left until he could find a new practice. He does not have refills. So, he now has to stop this wrong medication cold-turkey, which has a risk of seizures if you stop it without decreases. The psychiatrist also made him pay $300 for genetic testing and never gave him the results. After the discharge, he asked the practice to mail his genetic test results, but they neglected to send them and instead mailed everything in his medical file except the $300 results. They also tried to charge him over $100 for the records he didn’t ask for. This is not a quality practice and they do not care about the health of their patients. Please save yourself some money and grief and go elsewhere."

"Terrible practice. My psych nurse didn’t show for my appointment. No call, no show. If you want to see a new provider the current provider has to release you. I’ve never heard of such nonsense. Extremely high turnover. No one stays. Avoid."

"I was a new patient here. I had one appointment with my counselor. She seemed disinterested. I decided I would try again in hopes her mood would change. The morning of my second appointment my son was sick. I had to go pick him up from school. I had to cancel. My counselor decided to hit me with a $150 late cancellation fee. I do understand this is there to protect people’s time. I reached out to billing which only made things worse there was a language gap and they told me they would get back to me. I called multiple times all calls ending in we are taking care of it we will get back to you. Next thing I know I get a collections notice. I paid the bill. The moral of this story is this company employs counselors more interested in money than the people they are supposed to be helping. The company itself also prizes money over clear communication based on the fact that they out source all their call work overseas . Do yourself a favor and go to a psychiatry firm that cares about people. This company does not."
